On Another Love Valentine

It’s the time of the year again, will I be fine
It was like yesterday, I still remember the storyline
It was the day my lady left me behind
A day in February called valentines.

Just like a drop of tears
My heart was caged in the snare
How will I escape, the key was broken even the spare
Darkness embraced me, this battle is unfair.

Where is my hero, the one who called me beloved?
In the shadows, I search for the light I once cherished.
But hope flickers faintly, like a dying flame,
In the depths of despair, I whisper your name.

She called out to me telling me the sweetest things
What is this? Something long forgotten, is this feelings?
It tingles in my abdomen, is the butter flying?
Love, Love, Love. Wake that sleeping beauty.

Now I remember what it means to love
In the corners of my mind, where memories fade,
Lies the echo of a love, once brightly displayed.
It flickered like a candle, then faded away,
Leaving behind remnants of a forgotten bouquet.

Yet time marches on, and hearts learn to heal,
But the echo of that love, still holds its appeal.
For in the tapestry of life, where new stories are wove,
There's a quiet reverence, for the beauty of forgotten love.
