Deep within, a battle rages on,
A war fought with the self alone,
No enemy, no swords, nor guns,
Yet every fight feels like the one.
A struggle that none can see,
A fight for what we all can be,
Against our fears and doubts within,
A war that takes us to the brink.
Each day we put on a brave face,
To hide the conflict, to keep up the pace,
We fight to hold on to our dreams,
And shatter the barriers and extremes.
For every victory, a new battle awaits,
To defeat the demons, to change the fates,
But we stand tall, with our hearts pure,
Our spirits undefeated, our wills sure.
For within us lies the strength and power,
To wage this war, and not cower,
To fight with our might and zeal,
And emerge victorious, the wounds to heal.
So let us keep waging the war within,
And not let the battle make us thin,
For victory will be ours one day,
And we shall triumph, come what may.
