The rate at which our forests are being laid bare of trees should give us lots of concern. Deforestation aggravates climate changes by creating extreme weather patterns, flora and fauna can go into extinction as habitats get destroyed and this greatly affects ecological processes.
Soil erosion is the reason landslides happen more frequently, this also reduces the amount of land that can be farmed. The effect is that less Land would be available for farming thereby increasing food insecurity.
Deforestation has a huge impact on the Earth's balance which when tipped in the wrong direction can be a threat to the existence of life on this planet.
Reforestation is very crucial at this time to restore balance before it's too late.
