Aún recuerdo

aquella tarde cuando vino

y trajo con ella

el adiós más grande

de todos los adioses

que jamás he visto

y me quedé para verla

cuando el sol se pronunciaba

por encima de los árboles

cruzó la calle

el puente pequeño

se metió por la urbanización

independencia

y sus pasos alargaron su sombra

como queriendo quedarse.

se me vino de golpe

el recuerdo

porque ahora mismo

fulana cruzó la calle

se adentró en la muchedumbre

y su sombra

no quiso quedarse.

I still remember

that afternoon when he came

and brought with her

the biggest goodbye
