Se dice que una mirada
dice más que mil palabras.
Quisiera saber,
¿Qué te dice hoy la mía?
Suelo ser muy expresiva
Suelo tener una mirada vacía.
Suelo ser muy melancólica
o simplemente aterciopelada.
Creo que depende
más que todo del día.
¿Puedes ver en mi interior?
¿Eso que denota mi expresión?
¿Qué te dice mi mirada?
¿Ves el vacío que hay en mí?
¿O miras más profundamente?
¿Logras ver luz en mi mirada?
¿Logras entender lo que te dice?
Mis ojos siempre dicen la verdad
pues están llenos de honestidad
y sólo aquella persona
que sea capáz
logrará descubrir
el tesoro que hay en mí.
Ese tesoro que por sí sola
yo no alcanzo a apreciar.
Por lo que de ahí
se debe ciertamente
mi inseguridad.
