Working under pressure is pure adrenaline, when you are the leader of a project or organize an activity and the day is approaching to deliver the project or start the activity begins to activate in your subconscious an imperceptible alert that accelerates you and keeps you stressed until everything is done, the work has been delivered or the activity has been successfully completed.

When you are in a situation like this there are many people who specialize in adding pressure and last minute demands, many know how to put pressure at the moment but few are trained to cope in an environment like this.

In order not to end up collapsing there are some recommendations that we can take, in my case is what I do. First of all, we must give our best effort, this is key because it will give you the peace of mind of knowing that you did your best, that you demanded the maximum of your potential, that will give you the confidence to know that everything will be fine and that the effort put into this will pay off.

Then there is the echo of having a responsible team that will do exactly what you say and will implement your recommendations, but will have the ability to respond satisfactorily to any unforeseen event, that is to say that even if you are absent for any reason this team will not stop.

For many it is good to have a plan B, I think it is good to have a contingency or emergency plan, because when you are the leader of a project you must develop the best plan A you can think of, that brings us to the first recommendation, if we give our best effort it is assumed that our plan is the best plan we can develop and although it is not infallible it has a high probability of success.

Working under pressure is not easy but it generates an indescribable feeling when success is achieved.

Let me know what you think!
