A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words -With Venezuelan pride

Just a few days ago, the island republic of Singapore hosted the annual international Olympic robotics competitions. Many countries of the world send their delegations to represent them.

Venezuela sent a group of six young people from a western region of my country. This group was the winner of the prestigious "Albert Einstein" award for excellence in robotics and received the Gold Medal for their efforts.

This group of young people between 14 and 17 years of age participated in the "First Global International Excellente" that was held during the week of October 7 to 10 of the current month, October 2023. In addition to the gold medal, they won a second silver medal for their robotics presentations and other awards.

In this competition, the Venezuelan group presented a robot named Kashi, which performed its robotic maneuvers to meet the requirements of the qualifying team.

This international team strives to achieve excellence among the youngest, thus stimulating the intervention of the most outstanding in science, technology, and mathematics. 191 countries sent their delegations of excellent young people in the field and our group of young Venezuelan intellectuals was the winner.

In closing I have nothing more to say but how proud I am that in these times of so many difficulties, these young people put the name of my country Venezuela at the top of robotic technology.

Congratulations to all of them and my best wishes for international competitions such as the First Global Challenge to be a stimulus for many other countries to reward excellence in young people.

This is my participation in the contest sponsored by @wakeupkitty under the title "A picture is worth a thousand words".

I invite my friends @duvinca and @olivia08 to participate.
