del jardín, provenían los reclamos,
de un lindo y tierno gatito,
inesperado y simpático, retozaba en el césped,
despreocupado del mundo.
Nada anticipaba que había escapado de los cuidados de su madre,
lo tome cuidadosamente en mis manos,
su pelaje suave, sus ojos rayados de un verde profundo,
me miraron intensamente, sus afiladas garras se clavaron en mi piel.
Reaccionando por el dolor, intente liberarlo,
sin poder conseguirlo, una gota de sangre surgió de mi mano,
en ese instante, la celosa madre apareció,
reclamaba su criatura.
La urgencia de dárselo, me corto el alma,
lo que había empezado como un juego,
ahora terminaba en lamento,
la dulce criatura regreso a su hogar,

Unexpected and friendly
After hearing murmurs in the silence of the night,
from the garden came the cries
of a cute and cuddly kitten,
unexpected and friendly, frolicking on the lawn,
unconcerned about the world.
Nothing anticipated that he had escaped his mother's care,
I took him carefully in my hands,
his soft fur, his eyes streaked with deep green,
his sharp claws dug into my skin.
Reacting from the pain, I tried to free him,
but without succeeding, a drop of blood spurted from my hand,
at that instant, the jealous mother appeared,
she claimed her creature.
The urgency to give it to her, cut my soul,
