Rabies is an infection passed from animals to humans, mostly through biting. It is said that the virus is in the saliva, so a simple bite can transmit the virus to a person. There are other animals that carry this virus but I am sure of dogs, I think that's a common knowledge. Right from my childhood, I have heard of rabies and dogs that carry the virus. This kind of scenerio are better avoided for safety purposes. Rabies! Not cool.
