Lara lived in a block of flat, she was new to the neighborhood and had not many friends. Everyday as she walked to work, she would meet with Samora, a very playful dog that belonged to her neighbor.
Whenever she was going to work, Samora would rush to her, wagging his tail in excitement and in acceptance, then on her way back from work, she would buy treats for him, knowing that her furry friend liked her a lot and was always so happy to see her. Infact they became very good friends, woman and dog.
It was raining one night, everywhere was so cold, Lara slept all through because the next day was a Saturday, a work free day. When Lara woke up in the morning, she heard scratching noises on her door and she went to check what it was, she was surprised to see Samora by her door. He was wet and shivering from the cold. It was obvious he had spent the night outside her door, she was filled with so much compassion because she didn't know he was out there in the chilly night all by himself. She knew that Samora had wanted her company because his owner had told her he would be gone for a few days, to visit his fiancee.
"Poor naughty boy", she quietly tapped him on his head as she took him inside. Samora must have escaped from his dog house again, she dried his wet fur and lay him on her spare bed.
Throughout that weekend Lara tended to and cared for Samora, soon he had regained his strength and was feeling alright again, following Lara everywhere she went and wagging his tail in appreciation. A strong bond had been formed between Lara and Samora.
