Maria's joy knew no bounds when she delivered a set of twins, all boys. It was a real blessing to calm things down in the family, indeed all frailing nerves! She had undergone several tests to ascertain her state of fertility. Her husband Knox was not spared too as he was also made to pass through the rigours of those tests and prescriptions with the wife.
Maria has been called several names, most of them unpalatable but she endured it all. In the extended family they usually gossip about her. However, all became quite and more respectable when she took in. With the passage of the time her stomach began to be more visible. The day she put to bed...a set of twins...was the last of the dramas. Alot of things were alleged about her. Thank God the mother-in-law was in the labour room to witness all that transpired. The drama of the decade!!!
It was just unbelievable but thanks to God the giver of life and children who was with Maria throughout her trying times. The drama ceased alittle when she was discharged from the hospital and her mother-in-law carrying one of the babies herself to their common home.
