Why the Love for Ray Epps?

Everyone is an insurrectionist!! Except that one guy.

If you don't know who Ray Epps is, well join the club of intelligence agencies who apparently have nothing on this guy. But, if you have been paying attention to the Jan. 6th news and rumors, you know that Ray Epps is a guy, who on Jan. 5th, 2021, was caught on different videos encouraging people to "go into the Capitol Building". Responses to him at the time was "FED! FED! FED!".

Ray Epps - Reaction To Being Told "You're Not Gonna Storm The Capitol"

Ray Epps was also present at one of the barriers to the Capitol Building on Jan. 6th, before President Trump finished his speech and before the Proud Boys marched up to the barrier. He was seen talking to one of the people trying to push over the barrier before they succeeded. He is seen running towards the Capitol Building with the crowd and in other videos is shown at the steps confronting the Capitol Police. I'm sure there is some raw footage that hasn't been released showing him inside of the Capitol Building, since that was his goal.

Rumble : Ray Epps - Moments Before First Barricade Breach

I wish I could embed Rumble videos on Hive.

The majority of the people who have been charged with crimes involved with the Jan. 6th event have been charged with trespassing or "parading in the Capitol Building". It is clear in the videos that I have linked and other videos (if they haven't been scrubbed), that Ray Epps was actively encouraging people to do the thing that they are now charged with. And, since people who were merely in proximity to the Capitol Building have been targeted, it would seem as if Ray Epps should be part of this hated group of Jan. 6th Insurrectionists.

But, he is not.

Ray Epps was even on the FBI Most Wanted list for 4 months, but then removed and never arrested.

On Jan. 11th, 2022, Senator Ted Cruz asked an FBI representative about Jan. 6th and Ray Epps, she had no answer. She knew of him, but didn't know his background or if he was working for the FBI or any other government agency at the time. She couldn't even say "No, no government agency was helping encourage the rioting." When they can't say "No" due to an investigation, it means that the answer is "Yes" and they haven't figured out what all of their operatives have done yet.

This kicked off a response from the January 6th Committee stating that Ray Epps had been interviewed by the committee and Epps had testified that he was not an informant nor employee of a law enforcement agency.

Oh, Ray says so, so that's all good.

If the January 6th Committee truly wanted to get into what caused the Jan. 6th riot, since the FBI has concluded that there was scant evidence of a coordinated attack on the Capitol, why would they secretly interview Epps and then LET HIM GO?!?! And why did it take 2 months to release this information and not until the FBI was questioned about their involvement in the riot?

Not only did the committee release their "nothing burger" tweet, Illinois U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger posted a tweet thread supporting Epps.

If you read any Tweet thread about Epps, you'll find all sorts of people trying to say he wasn't a Fed or didn't do anything wrong. If the right hadn't pointed out this MAGA hat wearing right-wing activist as a possible mole, the left would be throwing him down a pit to hell. But, since the right is pointing out that this guy may possibly be working for some group to cause problems, they give him a pass.

Strange indeed.

Especially since that in 2020, the FBI tried to entrap a handful of useful idiots into kidnapping the governor of Michigan.

FBI informants had bigger role in Whitmer kidnap plot than thought: report

I won't link the stories, but basically every right-wing group has had an FBI informant or employee in a leader or close to leader position, including the Proud Boys who stormed the Capitol Building. And since the government has done entrapment before that lead to the deaths of innocent people (ie. Ruby Ridge - Settlement reached in Ruby Ridge lawsuit), it isn't a far stretch to think that a government agency might be involved in or being the actual bad actors of the Jan. 6th Riot.

A lot of people were just introduced to the term 'Mass Formation Psychosis'

Mass formation psychosis is when a large part of a society focuses its attention to a leader(s) or a series of events and their attention focuses on one small point or issue. Followers can be hypnotized and be led anywhere, regardless of data proving otherwise. A key aspect of the phenomena is that the people they identify as the leaders – the one’s that can solve the problem or issue alone – they will follow that leader(s) regardless of any new information or data. Furthermore, anybody who questions the leader’s narrative are attacked and disregarded.

We are there and it is frightening. Nothing good comes from this and history has shown what happens next. The blessing of The Socials is that more and more information can get out from sources beyond the mainstream media. The curse is that it shows how many people can't think for themselves, including people in the media and leadership positions.
