Crazy week, little electricity, it's a disaster these days, a few drops of water and goodbye to electricity and the internet, well, that's not what I want to talk about, I just want to show you the drawing I did for Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

I chose this card more than anything because I don't have much experience in this type of characters, before I made more creatures, orcs, aliens and others but now I've been getting used to drawing only girls and many times I forget that there are many other things to do. So....well I took this guy and went drawing.

Charlok Minotaur

The Minotaurs of Charlok are friends of the Exploding Dwarves of the Burning Lands. Although Minotaurs and Dwarves come from very different genetic backgrounds, both Charlok races emerged from the wreckage following the underground fall of Prujic, the Dwarven city of greed. These Minotaurs of flame hail from the same molten origins of the deep as the Exploding Dwarves, which Ferexia scholars have recently named Charlok. It was so named because only creatures of pure fire could have survived in the superheated furnace of the Planet. Since Prujic’s fall, Dwarves and Minotaurs alike have continually emerged and found their way to the surface, where the greater levels of oxygen have only made their flames and powers grow....

It starts with something quick like in the previous drawing, a color stain and to give it shape, speaking of it I wanted to upload the video in the post but the internet has been so terrible that I couldn't upload it to YB. Well, at this moment it was something strange, I had to fix it, I'm not an expert with this type of creatures and I know that I should learn more, but hey, it's a start.

A little later it looked better, at least it had a face (which is difficult for me to do) I helped myself a little with a previous minotaur, having it as a reference was good, also a lot of more images to check and see how they are the features of a minotaur.

I made a change in the size, it seemed to me that there was something wrong there, I also saw a somewhat crooked posture, I tried to improve that, besides that there were more details ready and that I should improve, but in this part maybe, if there is a minotaur 😅.

Something that I was missing was the weapon, a large ax that he used to cut cookies, it is a somewhat simple design, but it worked to improve it, I finished, well not finished but I detailed some other things and the environment fit better with the character.
