after a month away from the studio
i am back in chicago faced with returning to a bunch of unfinished work.
im glad i prepared some new substrates before i left, so that i could jump back into applying color when i got back after the hiatus.
layers of watered down neon wash sit flat on the floor to control drips.
i am at odds with a couple pieces.
i am unsure how to resolve them but confident that i will discover the solution in the coming month.
i have a small show in august, but quite possibly several studio visits in between so i need to produce inventory.
these i think, are done ✅ :
the paintings are all a combination of acrylic and oil paint. i would appreciate any feedback on the work in the comments below.
thanks!
