Hi everybody!
Today I am going to make the fanad of rexxie from splinterlands. I have already made the fanart of rexxie few months ago but I had made that digitally but today i am going to make this Fanart using water painting colors which is a very new thing for me. I have never tried water painting colors in my life, so today i thought to use my sister's water colors and to make the fanart of the character which i like the most, so i decided to make the fanart of rexxie.
The fanart which i have made using water Colors is below.
And Here is the original rexxie character.
First I prefer to make a rough sketch of the face with the pencil.
After that i sketched the body, but the belly of the rexxie i have made little bit huge.
Outlined the pencil sketch with the pen.
It is my first time trying colouring from watercolors so I just started to colour the face with the green color.
It was looking very light when I colour it one time so again I just use the dark green colour again to color it. I was scared also while using those watercolors because if my all the paper get damage what will I do. But it didn't happened.
For the eye i just coloured the eye with the pen beacause i was thinking that i will mess up if i use the water color for it.
After that i Started to color the body of the rexxie.
But I used the watercolor for the teeth which were in the side.
After that I colored the tongue of the character.
I used the little bit light color for the belly but I don't know why it was mixed with the body colour. But at last I mixed two or three colours and got a parrot green colour which was good.
Then without adding water I used the dark green colour and just made some random line in some randoms colouring I did at the finishing step. And here is the final fan art of rexxie.
I was happy because the result turned out amazingly. If i did any mistake while coloring it or while mixing the colors, feel free to tell me in the comment box.
