Hello dear hivers! You don't know how exhausted I am at this moment, but with the satisfaction of having finished on time. As you can see today I want to share with you my participation for the Splinterlands weekly contest, I chose Djinn Renova for this occasion. Without further ado, I leave you with the process below...

¡Hola queridos hivers! No saben lo agotada que estoy en este momento, pero con la satisfacción de haber terminado a tiempo. Como pueden ver hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi participación para el concurso semanal de Splinterlands, elegí a Djinn Renova para esta ocasión. Sin más preámbulos los dejo con el proceso a continuación....

It was an illustration with its ups and downs, many things blocked me as others flowed by themselves. Before starting the sketch I was looking for the perfect pose for her until I found this one, (I share the reference below). The complicated part of the sketch was the hands, the position of the shoulders and I would say the chest area.

Fue una ilustración con sus altibajos, muchas cosas me bloquearon mientras que otras fluyeron solas. Antes de empezar el boceto estuve buscando la pose perfecta para ella hasta que encontré esta, (comparto la referencia más abajo). Lo complicado del boceto fueron las manos, la posición de los hombros y diría que la zona del pecho.

The face was simple, despite that I don't know why I left the lips for later, I guess I got distracted hehe, my real mess as I said was the chest and at some point the abdomen, I took too long to do the skin in these areas sometimes it left the shadows very marked and I had to soften that. As there were times when I was blocked I left certain things to pick them up later.

El rostro fue sencillo, a pesar de eso no se porque deje los labios para después, supongo que me distraje jeje, mi verdadero desastre como dije fue el pecho y en algún momento el abdomen, tardé demasiado en hacer la piel en estas zonas a veces dejaba las sombras muy marcadas y tuve que suavizar eso. Como había veces que me bloqueaba dejaba ciertas cosas para retomarlas después.

I have a certain love/hate for gold clothing and armor, and I would have to say that I spent a lot of time on these, at the beginning I didn't like the finish, but as I progressed I modified the colors a bit, I ended up liking it a lot and I feel that it has been one of the best things in this illustration.

Tengo cierto amor/odio por las prendas y armaduras doradas, y tendría que decir que le dediqué mucho tiempo a estas, al principio no me gustaba el acabado, pero a medida que avanzaba fui modificando un poco los colores, me acabó gustando mucho y siento que ha sido una de las mejores cosas de esta ilustración.

I lowered the volume of the hair to make it look more natural and with a less rigid fall. Then for the background I decided to place the genie in the clouds, and make a neon lighting effect.
When I do the character's "powers or magic" I feel like I don't do it as smoothly as I would like, but I really put a lot of effort into this finish.

Bajé el volumen del cabello para que pareciera más natural y con una caída menos rígida. Luego para el fondo decidí colocar al genio en las nubes, y hacer un efecto de iluminación de neón.
Cuando hago los "poderes o magia" del personaje siento que no lo hago tan suavemente como me gustaría, pero realmente puse mucho esfuerzo en este acabado.

To finish I placed over the character a layer with "bright light" fusion and purple color, this helped me to focus the lights in certain areas by themselves and darken others, then little by little I retouched some others with a pastel pink. This has been the whole process...

Para terminar coloqué sobre el personaje una capa con fusión de "luz brillante" y color morado, esto me ayudó a centrar las luces en ciertas zonas por si solas y oscurecer otras, luego poco a poco fui retocando algunas otras con un rosa pastel. Este ha sido todo el proceso...
