Flowerpunk and Playing with AI

A few portaits created using the MidJourney AI. I find them inspiring and hope to use these themes in some portrait photography. I think that this is a good tool to use to rapidly prototype and visualize ideas.
There are a vast number of "punk" artistic styles, some use the suffix "core" or "wave" and putting them in to the AI engine can yield some fantastic results:
Flowerpunk - an offshoot of forestcore or naturepunk combines very well words for faeries:

Add in some words to dictate what colour schemes you want to see and you'll get closer to what you envisioned in your mind's eye before hitting the enter key.

Interestingly there is some unpredicability though! The same prompt as the above picture, given to the AI resulted in this image as well:

Exploring intricate themes which if done physically would require extensive knowledge of makeup and prosthetics:
"Mushroom person" gave some expected:

and some rather unexpected results:
I literally laughed out loud when this showed up:

Honestly, did you envision anything like the second picture with just the words "Mushroom person"?
A shiny mushroom cap, like the first of the two mushroom people, could be sold as a hat, different patterns of mushrooms and so on...winter is just around the corner!

I'll be participating in an art event this weekend where there will be dance, music, bellydancing and a bonfire all but the fire will be in a decommissioned railway tunnel! Putting those terms into the MidJourney bot resulted in one of my favourite images so far:

I'm really hoping to be able to capture a similar image with my camera!
If not at this event, I might need to get a bit more proactive in recreating it.
