Splinterlands Art Contest Week 238. Lightning Dragon

Untitled-1fffddd-01.jpg
hello everyone Hope everyone is well. So I came up with a new art for the new contest. For this contest I chose the legendary dragon card Lightning Dragon. There is a reason to choose it. I have not created any new art for this contest. I was making this dragon art a few days ago. And I posted about it on my blog link.

So I modified it and made it for the contest. Here I have used the colors here to match the colors used on the original card. The main card uses mostly blue and some white, yellow colors. I use many variants of blue in my art and use aqua to get higher saturation and brightness levels.
I also made this on the same theme as my previous art. This was the initial work.

I draw it in such a way that it looks like energy is coming out of its body. For which I changed its transparency mode from Normal to Overlay. Had to do this a few times. Means after using it on a layer I have to copy and paste it in the same place.

There are many advantages of using overlay in this type of design such as overlay transparency mode is that it can help you achieve more subtle and nuanced color transitions, especially when working with complex gradients or multiple layers. By using overlay transparency mode, you can blend colors in a way that creates a more natural, organic look and feel.

After that I used Gaussian blur here and also used outer glow. I also used the color aqua for the outer glow. After that again I have grouped it and used overlay here.It looks a lot like Sisu from the movie Raya and the Last Dragon. What do you think?

Its name is Lightning Dragon and how is it possible that there is no Lightning here. For this I took some lightning strike designs from Freepik. So this is how I made my Lightning Dragon for the art contest. Hope you like it too. thank you
