Fungus Flinger Splinterlands Art Contest Week 303

FUNGUS FLINGER.png

Hello! How are you? The weather today makes me want to sleep all day rain pours early in the morning so the weather is cold like I am in Baguio. LOL. I hope the weather is good next week we are going out of town for my cousin's graduation.

So back to the topic I chose Fungus Flinger because I saw a reference that would fit the idea I am going to do. I saw a video of a chubby kid being chased by their mother so yeah that's the idea LOL. It was supposed my entry for last week but I am too late for that hehe.

I got sick for weeks so I needed to calm down in sleep late, maybe one time I didn't notice that I was passing through walls I don't want that. LOL

The Process:

For the line art, it took me three layers to perfect the sketch and for the pose, I drew it like it was chased by something.

I fill the background with gray to tone the canvas just like painting traditionally and because the subject is white I do need to do that. I paint the base color on the subject.

For this part, I added the base color in their respective part it looked messy at first but as the progress goes I rendered it detail by detail.

I like to add texture to the canvas so I always use the paper texture, before I continue rendering I always lower the opacity of the line art.

For the final process, I added more details on the shadow and highlights and for the background, I added simple to make the subject more noticeable.
