My Cut-Paper Artwork Collection

I have one file of my cut-paper artwork at home. I try not to keep or create more than this file because I can't handle a large amount of artwork. I limit myself to this single file. However, there are times when I feel the urge to create more. Hmm... I wonder if I should have one more file.

Actually, I have some other files for my story artwork, posters, postcards, and more. A few years ago, I went through a significant artwork-cleaning process. It was challenging to part with my own creations. That's why I've set a limit for the number of files. Today, I'll introduce this file.

This file is very useful for keeping cut-paper artwork. I can add clear files if I need to. It's easy to file them. I can change the background if I want. I also write memos on the background paper, such as titles, ideas, or concepts. I noticed some green paint on it. I think I dropped it while painting.

This size is letter size, which is similar to A4 size. If I create cut-paper artwork in letter size, they are easy to handle. I sometimes want to create bigger sizes, but it's not easy to keep them in files like this.

I want to create a digital version of these artworks, which I have never spotlighted before.

私の切り絵アートコレクション

一冊のファイルを切り絵用に使用して家で保管しています。このファイル以上の切り絵を作り過ぎてしまうと手に負えなくなるので、なんとかこのファイルに収まるようにしています。ところが、たまにもっと作りたいと思うことがあります。そんな時は、もう一冊ファイルを用意しても良いものかどうか悩ましいところです。

実は他にもアート物語用、ポスターやポストカード用のファイルがあります。数年前、アートの大掃除をしたことがあるのですが、自分で作成したものを処分するのはとても心が痛かった思いがあります。ですから、ファイルを限定してあまり多く作りすぎないようにと心がけています。今日はそのファイルをご紹介します。

このファイルはとても便利で切り絵用にちょうどいいです。クリアファイルを足していけるので、必要であれば増やすことができます。背景も必要に応じて変えることができます。背景の紙にタイトル、アイディア、コンセプトなどのメモを書いておくと便利です。緑の絵の具がついていますね。おそらく絵を描いているときに落としてしまったのだと思います。

サイズはレターサイズ（A４サイズに近い）です。レターサイズの切り絵にしておくと、便利です。ときどき、大きなサイズの切り絵を作りたくなるのですが、大きなものを作ってしまうと保管に困ります。

中にはまだ日の目を浴びていない作品もあるので、少しずつデジタル化して活躍させて行きたいです。
