His design reminded me a lot of the characters of classic RPG games, so this character in the form of a monk, I thought it was ideal to capture that retro vibe in the artwork.

Su diseño me recordo bastante a los personajes de juegos RPG clasicos, asi que este personaje con forma de monje me pareció ideal para plasmar esa onda retro del trazo al arte.

I used as much as possible the same concept of the card, to respect the character.
Delivering a 90's TV anime style.

I thought of placing a background image to highlight that he is a monk, so I searched in pixabay for a temple.

Pense en colocar una imagen de fondo para resaltar que es un monje, asi que busque en pixabay un templo.

To assemble everything I used Microsoft PowerPoint
I initially added an orange color to the photograph, as well as a slight color tone to the splinterlands logo so that it doesn't look so yellow.

Maybe this orange tone on the monk, the temple and the logo would overload the image.
So then I thought that as the splinterlands logo looks like in nocturne, the background should be better in a purple tone, to highlight only the monk and his colors.

A la fotografía inicialmente le coloque un color anaranjado, asi como un ligero de tono de color al logo de splinterlands para que no se vea todo tan amarillo.

Puede que es este tono color naranja tanto en el monje, en el templo y el logo sobrecargara la imagen.
Así que luego pensé que como el logo de splinterlands se ve como en nocturno, el fondo deberia ser mejor de un tono morado, para asi resaltar solo al monje sus colores.

After this, the character stands out a lot and gives some characteristics as if he was an elf of the lord of the rings, although of course his ears are normal and not pointed and he does not have blond hair.

So to get out of doubt I wanted to make an image without background to see how a second result would look like.

Luego de esto, el personaje destaca bastante y entrega unas características como si fuera un elfo del señor de los anillos, aunque claro que sus orejas son normales y no puntiagudas y no posee el cabello rubio

así que para salir de dudas quise hacer una imagen sin fondo para ver como quedaría un segundo resultado.

Already with the Splinterlands logo in its original colors, I felt that the character already looked like part of the game.

Maybe having 2 versions would be useful, one might be useful for the character's Lore if you add text to the image with the if you add text to the image with the temple as a technical card, and the other image as normal art.

Ya con el logo de Splinterlands en sus colores originales, sentí que el personaje ya parecía parte del juego.

Puede que tener 2 versiones sirva para el Lore del personaje
si se le añade texto a la imagen con templo como ficha técnica, y la otra imagen como arte normal.
