English:

The back and forth of black, rough, disordered and thick strokes completely cover the canvas in this work, a canvas saturated with a vibrant, bloody and lively red that is accompanied by sharply stitched perforations. This is my work, entitled "The Strange Red Painting". Made with pastel crayons, knife, black thread, white paint, black paint and red plasticine.

This plastic work is a qualified delivery of my academic project called "sculpting the sound" and is a plastic interpretation of the song "Chop Suey!" by the band System of a Down.

I used colors that for me represent metal, its abrupt strokes are nothing more than my interpretation of how the song would look like if it were a painting, more than that this work is the interpretation of a piece of human skin and in turn, the openings are wounds in the process of healing, the relief and background of the openings symbolize a layer of human skin.

The artistic process of this work was very well thought out and exposed with the objective of achieving a satisfactory result, I hope you like it!

Painting made with pastel crayons, paint, scissors, black thread, red plasticine and cardboard.
