Con ánimos de volver a postear en este formato y de manera constante con el blog (como debe ser), hoy les traigo el proceso creativo de mi último collage. Espero les sirva como inspiración de alguna manera ✨o bien sea su dosis diaria de arte, sumamente necesario por cierto. :)

In the spirit of posting again in this format and constantly with the blog (as it should be), today I bring you the creative process of my last collage. I hope it will serve you as inspiration in some way ✨ or else it will be your daily dose of art, extremely necessary,btw. :)

Primeramente hice un pequeño estudio a nivel mental e hice introspección acerca de qué quería transmitir con mi obra, las emociones que estarían plasmadas en el producto final. ¿Qué mensaje quiero dar al espectador? La intención y la paleta de colores. Es súper importante tener en cuenta esto porque definen mucho la energía y esencia final de nuestra obra. En este caso quise hacer una serie de collages con un aspecto orgánico muy ligado a la naturaleza, la tierra, la sensibilidad, lo emocional y la poesía. Ya lo veremos a continuación.

First I made a brief mental study and introspection about what I wanted to convey with my work, the feelings that would be captured in the final product. What message do I want to give to the viewer? The intention and the color palette. It's very important to consider it because this'll define the energy and final essence of our work. In this case I wanted to make a series of collages with an organic aspect closely linked to nature, earth, sensitivity, emotion and poetry. We will see it next.

Luego comencé a ponerme manos a la obra y definí mis materiales (en realidad suena más organizado que la realidad, porque siempre en el proceso creativo surgen cambios, elijo nuevos materiales, descarto otros y todo se mancha 😂) En este caso necesité exacto o cutter, tijeras, una carpeta manila para el fondo, pinturas, un lienzo y revistas para la composición.

Then I started to get down to work and defined my materials (actually it sounds more organized than reality, because always in the creative process changes arise, I choose new materials, discard others and everything gets stained lol 😂) In this case I needed a cutter, scissors, a manila folder for the background, paints, a canvas and magazines for the composition.

Seguidamente empecé a hacer mi composición y recogí algunos materiales extras para darle un toque tridimensional como hilos, un lápiz roto y el centro de una flor artificial. Fui dándole forma al collage, colocando de sujeto central la figura de la mujer, y expandiendo su sombra con recortes de texto, quien representa la figura de la poeta - artista - musa. Luego agregué elementos de la naturaleza como las flores, y al soporte, en este caso el lienzo la pintura tono tierra.

Then I began to make my composition and gathered some extra materials to give it a three-dimensional touch, such as threads, a broken pencil and the center of an artificial flower. I gave shape to the collage, placing the figure of the woman as the central subject, and expanding her shadow with text cutouts, who represents the figure of the poet - artist - muse. Then I added elements of nature such as flowers, and to the support, in this case the canvas, the earth tone paint.

Por último, utilicé una hoja de planta de romero seca para hacer una impresión natural.

Hasta se imprimió en mi mano jaja, pero todo es parte de la experiencia. ✨

Lastly, I used a dried rosemary plant leaf to make a natural print.

It even printed on my hand lol, but it's all part of the experience.✨

(Disponible para Venezuela) (El título de la obra-collage pertenece a un aforismo de la poetisa y escritora venezolana María Gabriela Rosas.) (The title of the collage-work belongs to an aphorism of the Venezuelan poet and writer María Gabriela Rosas).

Este collage tiene como objetivo transmitir lo que conforma al poeta-poetisa o a todo aquel creativo que de su mente emanan y surgen ideas desde la sensibilidad, lo genuino y lo orgánico (por eso coloqué los tonos color tierra y mostaza para un aspecto natural) .

This collage aims to convey what makes up the poet-poetess or any creative person whose mind emanates and ideas emerge from the sensitivity, the genuine and the organic growth (that's why I placed the earth and mustard tones for a natural look).

La simbología de la flor saliendo de la cabeza de la mujer representa el crecimiento,la evolución y producción de las ideas en el mundo de la mente, así como las plantas todo comienza por un primer paso, una obra, un tema musical, un poema o cualquier proyecto en general comienza por una idea semilla, un punto de inicio. Estas ideas florecen o se desarrollan correctamente si se hay fe en ello (desde la perspectiva que quiera verse), confianza en lo que se hace y convicción para seguir adelante para que constantemente dé frutos o florezca,manteniéndose en el tiempo. Por esto quise poner el recorte de "faith in art" así como los recortes de texto haciendo referencia a los pensamientos y esencia de la mujer, en este caso lo que representa la figura de lo femenino como escritora y poetisa.

The symbolism of the flower coming out of the woman's head represents the growth, evolution and production of ideas in the world of the mind, just like plants, everything begins with a first step, a work, a musical theme, a poem or any project in general begins with a seed idea, a starting point. These ideas bloom or develop correctly if there is faith in it (from the perspective you want to see it), confidence in what is done and conviction to move forward so that it constantly bears fruit or blooms, maintaining itself over time. For this reason I wanted to put the "faith in art" cutout as well as the text cutouts referring to the thoughts and essence of women, in this case what represents the figure of the feminine as a writer and poetess.

Por último, el efecto rasgado del papel lo hice con intenciones de darle nuevamente un aspecto de relación con la escritura y algo antiguo (como una carta vieja o un periódico roto).

Finally, the torn paper effect was done with the intention of giving it again an aspect related with writing and something vintage (like an old letter or a torn newspaper).
