Sadness, Acrylic on Paper,2019
This is “Sadness”. I painted this after an oil pastel drawing I did in life drawing session.
I love the emotion in it. It's reflective of the melancholy dwelling deep in this heart anyway.
I also love the simplicity of the lines and colors. I didn’t want to be realistic at all. I think I succeeded.
