Gracias por esta nueva oportunidad de encontrarme con ustedes y compartir un poco de mi arte a través de la interpretación o recreación de una carta extraída de un Masó de naipes de spitencard
Esta vez he puesto la vista sobre “Naga Warrior”, que representa a una joven guerrera en actitud de combate.
La presencia de destacadas guerreras a través de la historia, echa por tierra aquella vieja teoría de" sexo débil”, pues la valentía de estas mujeres, algunas de las cuales han pasado a ser leyenda e inspiración para muchos hombres y muchos pueblos.
Las famosas tribus de las amazonas que aparecen en muchas historias, mitos y leyendas es un referente constante en la obra de artistas y escritores a través de la historia del arte. Para recrear la carta de referencia he utilizado un bolígrafo de tinta negra y una cartulina de un blog de dibujo escolar
Aunque he querido ser bastante fiel al original, primero le he aportado claro oscuro al dibujo en algunas zonas para aumentar la fuerza expresiva, y eso lo logré usando el cruce de las líneas, y también el barrido si levantar la punta del lapicero, pero también he querido mantener cierto ritmo y frescura en ese ejercicio del volumen.
El comienzo con unas breves y desenfadadas líneas tratando de proporcionar y pelear el movimiento de la figura. Y después la búsqueda de zonas y detalles y la adición de nuevos elementos discursivos.
A nivel conceptual ubiqué a la guerrera en un ambiente doméstico: la cocina de una vivienda donde la muchacha, blandiendo en su mano derecha un cucharón aun correando caldo _ elemento que sustituí por la espada parece defenderse de algo o de alguien que puede suponerse sea su pareja, lo cual dejo en suspenso, para que el espectador termine la obra.
El resultado final termina siendo una escena de combate típica de las contradicciones familiares captado desde la ironía y el humor criollo. De todas formas el amor también tiene esos matices siempre que no llegue al la violencia de género.

Thank you for this new opportunity to meet with you and share a little of my art through the interpretation or recreation of a card extracted from a Masó of spitencard playing cards.
This time I have set my sights on "Naga Warrior", which represents a young female warrior in combat attitude.
The presence of outstanding female warriors throughout history, demolishes the old theory of the "weaker sex", because the bravery of these women, some of whom have become legends and inspiration for many men and many peoples.
The famous tribes of Amazons that appear in many stories, myths and legends is a constant reference in the work of artists and writers throughout the history of art. To recreate the reference letter I have used a black ink pen and a cardboard from a school drawing blog.
Although I wanted to be quite faithful to the original, first I have brought dark light to the drawing in some areas to increase the expressive force, and that I achieved using the crossing of the lines, and also the sweep without lifting the tip of the pen, but I also wanted to maintain a certain rhythm and freshness in this exercise of volume.
The beginning with some brief and casual lines trying to provide and fight the movement of the figure. And then the search for areas and details and the addition of new discursive elements.
At a conceptual level I placed the warrior in a domestic environment: the kitchen of a house where the girl, brandishing in her right hand a ladle still running broth _ element that I replaced by the sword seems to defend herself from something or someone that can be assumed to be her partner, which I leave in suspense, for the viewer to finish the work.
The final result ends up being a typical combat scene of family contradictions captured with irony and Creole humor. Anyway, love also has these nuances as long as it does not reach gender violence.
