Heyaaa ¿cómo están? ¿toooodo bien?
El día de hoy quise subir algo un poco distinto. Quise hacer una nueva ilustración de forma tradicional, ya que me encanta hacer este tipo de dibujos.

Today I wanted to upload something a little different. I wanted to do a new illustration in a traditional way, since I love to do this kind of drawings.
En particular tiene un LineArt hecho con tinta japonesa especial para mangas. Llevo un tiempo usándola en otros dibujos, pero sólo como prueba para acostumbrarme al trazo de la plumilla. Ya saben, bocetos, manchones y garabatos sin sentido en hojas reciclables. Obviamente incluyendo la mismísima factura que entrega el supermercado o la parte de atrás de mis cuadernos.
In particular it has a LineArt made with special Japanese ink for manga. I've been using it for a while in other drawings, but only as a test to get used to the pen stroke. You know, sketches, smudges and nonsense scribbles on recyclable sheets. Obviously including the very same invoice that the supermarket delivers or the back of my notebooks.
Luego de un tiempo de práctica, finalmente realicé este dibujo con seriedad. A pesar de que mi método principal de dibujo es el digital, disfruté mucho manipular la tinta y jugar con la variedad de grosores que me ofrecía la plumilla dependiendo de cómo la aplicara. En general, aunque ciertamente los métodos digitales tienen muchas más herramientas para facilitar el trabajo (capas, correcciones tonales, efectos, hacer y deshacer alguna acción, por ejemplo) la forma tradicional me es mucho más cómoda a la hora de querer plasmar ideas, puntualmente en el boceto.
After some time of practice, I finally made this drawing in earnest. Even though my main drawing method is digital, I really enjoyed manipulating the ink and playing with the variety of thicknesses the nib offered me depending on how I applied it. In general, although digital methods certainly have many more tools to facilitate the work (layers, tonal corrections, effects, do and undo some action, for example) the traditional way is much more comfortable for me when I want to capture ideas, especially in the sketch.
Sé que no soy experta en la forma tradicional. Al contrario, soy consiente de que sólo he trabajado con tinta japonesa. Nunca he experimentado hacer coloreados con acuarelas, con óleo o incluso con los famosos colores de madera, al igual que hay muchísimas cosas que implican a este método cuyo uso nunca les he dado.
I know I am not an expert in the traditional way. However, I am aware that I have only worked with Japanese ink. I have never experimented with coloring with watercolors, oil colors or even the famous wood colors, as there are many things that involve this method that I have never used.
Admiro con gran entusiasmo la destreza que tienen muchos artistas con este método y sus ilustraciones, realmente son increíbles ¡Soy gran fan de su trabajo!

Qué lindo se siente meterse en este mundo del arte y poder curiosear distintas técnicas, sin duda le daré mucho más uso a los métodos tradicionales, ya verán :D

Proceso - Process:
Para empezar hice la estructura del rostro, coloqué las líneas de referencia para poder ubicarme y hacerme una idea de dónde poner la nariz, ojos, etc. También qué facciones o expresión quería que tuviera, todo se trata de tantear.
To begin with I made the structure of the face, I placed the reference lines to be able to locate myself and get an idea of where to put the nose, eyes, etc.. Also what features or expression I wanted it to have, it's all about feeling it out.
Una vez teniendo la base del rostro en el boceto, incluí a la chica, ya haciéndome imagen de cómo iba a avanzar esta ilustración. Empecé a detallar su perfil dándole más forma a sus expresiones.
Once I had the base of the face in the sketch, I included the girl, making myself an image of how this illustration was going to progress. I started to detail her profile giving more shape to her expressions.
Aplicando lo mismo para la otra chica, marqué las líneas base para darle forma a su rostro.
Applying the same for the other girl, I marked the base lines to shape her face.
Para su pose, sólo comencé a enlazar los tres cuerpos, de manera en que casi dé la impresión de que son una sola pieza. Me inspiré en el tema "infidelidad" o en general, las personas que poseen un desorden sentimental en triángulos amorosos.
For its pose, I just started to link the three bodies, so that it almost gives the impression that they are one piece. I was inspired by the theme "infidelity" or in general, people who have a sentimental disorder in love triangles.
Poco a poco continué haciendo las bases para poder detallar el dibujo y limpiar el boceto.
Yo en particular no suelo hacer una estructura para las manos, mi forma de hacerlo es a pulso limpio, esto me ayuda a darle más dureza o rudez en el caso de las manos masculinas y en las femeninas, hacerlo de esta forma me ayuda a darle más fluidez a la pose de la mano.
Little by little I continued making the bases to be able to detail the drawing and clean the sketch.
I don't usually make a structure for the hands, my way of doing it is with a clean hand, this helps me to give more hardness or roughness in the case of the masculine hands and in the feminine hands, doing it this way helps me to give more fluidity to the pose of the hand.
Como tal, pienso que las manos no son mi mayor fortaleza en la anatomía, aún tengo que practicar mucho diferentes poses en distintos ángulos. Aún así, hacerlas de esta forma me ha ayudado mucho a darles soltura.
As such, I think my hands are not my greatest strength in anatomy, I have yet to practice a lot of different poses at different angles. Still, doing them this way has helped me a lot to give them looseness.
Por último, agregué ese toque surrealista de las flores.
Las dos chicas representan las flores que se marchitan poco a poco por falta de cuidado o desgaste, quienes se aferran a un tronco podrido (el chico).
Finally, I added that surreal touch of the flowers.
The two girls represent the flowers that wither little by little for lack of care or wear, who cling to a rotten trunk (the boy).
Esto para mi también puede simbolizar la dependencia emocional. Muchos problemas a raíz de un amorío de engaños, mentiras y relaciones tóxicas que no traen más que daños internos e inseguridades. Las cuales podrían representar las raíces oscuras que tienen las chicas en el rostro.
This for me can also symbolize emotional dependence. Many problems as a result of a love affair of deceit, lies and toxic relationships that bring nothing but internal damage and insecurities. Which could represent the dark roots that girls have in their faces.
Una vez culminado el boceto, es hora de repasar y detallar con la plumilla.
Once the sketch is finished, it is time to go over and detail with the pen.
Mientras más tiempo se deje la plumilla en el papel a la hora de trazar más gruesa sale la línea, si trazas rápido las líneas salen más finas.
The longer the pen is left on the paper when tracing, the thicker the line will be, if you trace quickly the lines will be thinner.
Aproveché mucho esta técnica, usar las líneas finas para detallar sombra e incluso dar sensación de misterio u oscuridad son perfectas. De por sí, siempre quise darle este efecto a mis dibujos con tinta.
I took great advantage of this technique, using the fine lines to detail shadows and even give a sense of mystery or darkness are perfect. In itself, I always wanted to give this effect to my ink drawings.
Para los detalles del cabello seguí la línea del cuero cabelludo hasta el largo de los mechones, dándole movimiento y naturalidad según los trazos que haga o las curvas, así fui avanzando poco a poco hasta terminar el LineArt de todo el dibujo.
For the details of the hair I followed the line of the scalp up to the length of the locks, giving it movement and naturalness according to the strokes I make or the curves, so I progressed little by little until I finished the LineArt of the whole drawing.
Finalmente usé el lápiz para dar terminar de difuminar los efectos restantes de sombra y rubor, dándome este resultado.
Finally I used the pencil to finish blending the remaining shadow and blush effects, giving me this result.
Adoré como estructuré y avancé con la ilustración, le dediqué mucho cariño al igual que cuidado.
I loved how I structured and moved forward with the illustration, I put a lot of love and care into it.
Aunque ya estuviera terminado y listo para subir, cuando estaba seleccionando las mejores imágenes del proceso, me gustó la idea de editar un poco la foto del dibujo ya culminado, remarcando y oscureciendo las líneas de forma digital, darle uno que otro brillo y efecto.
Although it was already finished and ready to upload, when I was selecting the best images of the process, I liked the idea of editing a little the photo of the finished drawing, highlighting and darkening the lines digitally, giving it some brightness and effect.
