Hola bloggers espero estén muy bien, hoy aprovechando un tiempo libre he venido a traerles una ilustración nueva de libro infantil que me tomo algunos días terminar XD, por mis estudios solo tengo momentos libres y aprovecho de no abandonar mis practicas personales. Esta vez contando una vez mas una historia y practicando sobre todo nuevas paletas de color. tratar cada vez mas de armonizar los colores y hacer que mejore cada día mas mi ilustración. te cuento un poco como fue hacerla y la base para la paleta de color. This piece of children's illustration that I created thinking especially about the importance of reading in children. I think that children's reading is very important, because from an early age we must learn, or rather; let out that creativity and develop it as we grow up. For the sketch as I already told you; my main inspiration was children's reading and its importance in all of us. So this time I recreated it with Alana; who is an 8 year old reader.
Esta pieza de ilustración infantil que cree pensando especialmente en la importancia de la lectura en los niños. Pienso que la lectura infantil es muy importante, pues de temprana edad debemos aprender, o mejor dicho; dejar salir esa creatividad y desarrollarla a medida que vamos creciendo. Para el boceto como ya les comente; mi principal inspiración fue la lectura infantil y su importancia en todos nosotros. Así que esta vez la recree con Alana; que es un niña lectora de 8 años de edad.

With their reddish hair because we must keep in mind that not all children have blond or brown hair. It is important to represent different features so that all children feel identified.
Con su cabello rojizo pues debemos tener presente que no todos los niños son de cabello rubio o castaño. Es importante representar distintos rasgos para que todos los niños se sientan identificados.

Alana in her imagination while reading, imagines birds and flowers in her hair. Making it clear to herself that her imagination and creativity has no limits. By reading fantastic tales and stories, children can discover themselves.
Alana en su imaginación mientras lee, imagina aves y flores en su cabello. Dejando claro para ella misma que su imaginación y creatividad no tiene límites. Al leer cuentos e historia fantásticas, los niños pueden descubrirse a si mismos.

To finish I gave textures to all the leaves and the monster, I'm still studying how I could make this better and also give a variety to those strokes to achieve different sensations and textures. Let me know what you thought and if you would like to see a part two of this series.
