Hi people of the community, today I come to participate in this week and share another illustration of @Splinterlands, this time I have chosen the character Tortisian Fighter, this illustration was made with Photoshop CS6 software, using the graphic tablet Huion Model HS610, thanks for seeing my post and I hope you enjoy it.

In the process of this illustration, the turtle meditates squatting on a rock, in the heart of a serene lake, while holding his staff, there is also a small lamp attached to the staff, the turtle observes in the distance thoughtfully, with an aura of mystery.

Process

Placing the dark colors as bases, dividing by parts and adding the line layer in a clipping mask.

Beginning to apply the shadows and shimmer to the different parts of the body, such as the hat, body, armor, and pants.

We observe how the illustration begins to have more details as it is painted, you can see the texture of the skin of the turtle, the wood of the old staff, the shine of the armor, the rough texture of the rock, and something I wanted to add was a small gray beard.

For the scenery I thought of a forest for the background, with a big thick fog around it.

In an ancestral forest, where barely reaches the sunlight, is a mysterious and silent lake, where we can observe the figure of a turtle meditating on a rock, radiates an aura of wisdom and serenity, in his eyes you can see that he has lived many years, these watching the mysterious landscape in the distance, the turtle carries a polished wooden staff, with a sharp blade below, an extension that represents the discipline, strength and connection with the spiritual path, the turtle on its back has a large shell with earth and grass on top, around the turtle a thick fog envelops it, creating an atmosphere of mystery and reverie, the visibility in the distance is limited and one can barely make out the silhouettes of the centennial pines that rise to the skies, the fresh and humid air impregnated with the smell of wet earth, the turtle itself shows an introspection and deep connection with itself, a thought that invites one to contemplate inner peace even in the midst of uncertainty.
