So this is my first post in the new year.
Last night I was watching a Korean historical TV series and inspired by their dresses, I suddenly decided to draw a character. In historical movies you see the male characters having long hair and a headband.
Although he doesn’t look Asian and doesn’t have Asian attire, that’s what inspired me to create this piece :D
First I started with coloring his skin. After I colored the base layer, I used a darker tone for shading and giving depth to his skin. Then I went on adding details to his eyes and lips. It’s my favorite part of drawing. Details make drawings come to life :D I worked specially on his hair and I’m really happy with the result.
