The dark void

Feliz jueves para todos, espero que estén muy bien, yo estoy enferma pero mejorando poco a poco, quiero compartir hoy con todos ustedes mi nuevo dibujo, siempre había querido hacer algo así, usando la técnica de oleo se ve aún más interesante, este dibujo se puede interpretar de varias maneras, para mi representa esas veces donde perdemos nuestra esencia, nuestra identidad donde no sabemos quienes somos y a donde iremos, un oscuro vacío en el rostro que no nos permite ver más allá de quienes realmente somos, un alma perdida. Espero que les guste.

Happy Thursday everyone, I hope you are very well, I am sick but improving little by little, I want to share my new drawing with all of you today, I have always wanted to do something like this, using the oil technique it looks even more interesting, this drawing It can be interpreted in various ways, for me it represents those times where we lose our essence, our identity where we do not know who we are and where we will go, a dark emptiness on the face that does not allow us to see beyond who we really are, a lost soul.

Proceso/Process

Realice mi boceto y elegí tonos muy desaturados casi llegando al gris, empecé a pintar todo el cuerpo hasta darle forma, en nuevas capas fui agregando mas detalles y arreglando algunas cosas que no se veían del todo bien, utilice un pincel con textura de tiza para aplicar los tonos base y para mezclar utilice un pincel con textura de óleo, dando así un toque rustico a la pintura, de fondo elegi un marrón muy oscuro y aplique algunas pinceladas con marrón claro y una opacidad muy baja, el rostro lo cubrí con negro.

I made my sketch and I chose very desaturated tones almost reaching gray, I began to paint the entire body until it gave shape, in new layers I was adding more details and fixing some things that did not look quite right, I used a brush with a chalk texture to apply the base tones and to mix, use a brush with an oil texture, thus giving a rustic touch to the painting, in the background I chose a very dark brown and apply some brushstrokes with light brown and a very low opacity, I covered the face with black.

Pinte el cabello con un tono oscuro y luego agregue algunos reflejos de luz, pinte las uñas con blanco y las hice muy largas, para la parte inferior de su cuerpo comencé a dar pinceladas copiando los colores de su piel, luego utilice la herramienta de dedo para darle movimiento y un aspecto de “desvanecer” a esa parte, hice lo mismo con otras partes de la silueta para darle mas aspecto a pintura.

I painted the hair with a dark tone and then added some light reflections, I painted the nails with white and made them very long, for the lower part of her body I started to give brush strokes copying the colors of her skin, then I used the finger tool To give movement and a "fade" look to that part, I did the same with other parts of the silhouette to give it more of a paint look.
