Hola amigos! Feliz fin de semana. Me di cuenta que tenia mucho tiempo sin hacer uno de los retratos que mas me caracterizan, el estilo que dio vida a mi arte, donde siempre mezclo retratos con un toque de sangre, esta vez elegí hacer un retrato bastante cerca donde pudiese aplicar mucho realismo, enormes ojos y muchos destellos de luz. Me encanto trabajar en esto y quisiera hacerlo siempre, pero también me gusta variar de estilos, ya que recientemente estoy explorando un poco mas los dibujos con fantasía y colores extravagantes, de vez en cuando se siente bien volver al lugar donde empezaste, es realmente satisfactorio ¡Espero que les guste!

I realized that I had a long time without doing one of the portraits that characterize me the most, the style that gave life to my art, where I always mix portraits with a touch of blood, this time I chose to do a portrait quite close where I could apply a lot of realism, huge eyes and lots of flashes of light. I love working on this and I would like to do it always, but I also like to vary styles, as recently I'm exploring a bit more the drawings with fantasy and extravagant colors, from time to time it feels good to go back to where you started, it's really satisfying, I hope you like it!

Proceso/Process

Como les mencioné, quería un retrato bastante cerca entonces realice el boceto y comencé a rellenar la piel usando un morado opaco, para el cabello aplique un marrón oscuro, cree una nueva capa donde comencé a aplicar mas colores, haciendo que este retrato poco a poco tomara vida, utilice una paleta de colores piel con tonalidades rosas desaturadas, para los ojos utilice un verde azulado muy oscuro, creando otra capa pude colocar mas colores para terminar de darle la forma completa al rostro, agregando mas sombras y luces que crean volúmenes.

As I mentioned, I wanted a very close portrait so I made the sketch and started to fill the skin using an opaque purple, for the hair I applied a dark brown, I created a new layer where I started to apply more colors, making this portrait gradually come to life, I used a palette of skin colors with desaturated pink tones, for the eyes I used a very dark bluish green, creating another layer I could place more colors to finish giving the full shape to the face, adding more shadows and lights that create volumes.

Comencé a difuminar los colores del rostro, mezclándolos entre sí. Dando como resultado una piel mas suave, comencé a pintar algunas gotas de sangre en el rostro utilizando un color ladrillo, luego un rojo intenso mas saturado, comencé a darle forma a las cejas, pestañas y labios, para el cabello, agregue algunas luces y sombras, pero sin exagerar, de fondo simplemente pinte de azul con unas tonalidades claras y oscuras. Le cambie el color al cabello porque creía que se veía mejor con una tonalidad mas rojiza, agregue una capa con efecto de multiplicar para darle mejor efecto a la sangre dando una tonalidad mas oscura, añadí las luces al rostro para darle mucho mas realismo y finalmente realice un ajuste de color y saturación dándole al dibujo una mejor definición.

I started blurring the colors on the face, mixing them together. The result was a softer skin, I started to paint some drops of blood on the face using a brick color, then a more saturated intense red, I started to shape the eyebrows, eyelashes and lips, for the hair, I added some lights and shadows, but without exaggerating, in the background I simply painted blue with some light and dark tones.
I changed the color of the hair because I thought it looked better with a more reddish tone, I added a layer with a multiply effect to give a better effect to the blood giving a darker tone, I added the lights to the face to give it more realism and finally I made a color and saturation adjustment giving the drawing a better definition.
