Djinn Renova

Buenas noches amigos, hoy me siento de mejor humor y comencé un nuevo dibujo con mucha paciencia y dedicación, aunque sigo algo sensible estos días y me costo demasiado hacer este dibujo, quise terminarlo y ponerle todo el entusiasmo posible, hoy quiero presentar esta versión de Djinn Renova para el concurso de arte de @Splinterlands es la segunda vez que dibujo a esta carta y aunque me gusta mucho, siempre se me complica dibujar el “humo” que cubre la mitad de su cuerpo, hice lo mejor que pude y el resultado no esta excelente pero si me gusto.

Good evening friends, today I feel in a better mood and I started a new drawing with a lot of patience and dedication, although I'm still a little sensitive these days and it cost me too much to do this drawing, I wanted to finish it and put all the enthusiasm possible, today I want to present this version of Djinn Renova for the art contest of @Splinterlands is the second time I draw this card and although I like it a lot, it is always difficult to draw the “smoke” that covers half of her body, I did the best I could and the result is not excellent but I liked it.

Proceso/Process

La vez pasada hice un retrato, esta vez quería un dibujo de medio cuerpo, sabia que seria todo un reto porque vengo de una racha muy mala de bloqueos y de dibujo, pero decidí intentarlo, esta vez quise hacer su cabello suelto y muy largo, cubriendo toda la espalda con movimientos de onda, empecé a pintar con colores piel oscuros y claros, dejando la luz de lado izquierdo y las sombras en la derecha, en una nueva capa agregue mas colores para darle mas forma a toda la piel, empecé a mezclar los colores hasta dejar un resultado suave, luego pinte el cabello con un color marrón rojizo de base.

Last time I did a portrait, this time I wanted a half body drawing, I knew it would be a challenge because I come from a very bad streak of blocking and drawing, but I decided to try, this time I wanted to make her hair loose and very long, covering all the back with wave movements, I started to paint with dark and light skin colors, leaving the light on the left side and the shadows on the right, in a new layer I added more colors to give more shape to all the skin, I started to mix the colors until I left a soft result, then I painted the hair with a reddish brown base color.

Agregue luces y sombra al cabello para darle volumen y movimiento, luego pinte el top, de un color crema desaturado y pequeños pliegues en la tela, maquille los ojos con un delineado verde agua y luego pinte el collar de oro, para el fondo quise usar tonalidades azules y cian, quise experimentar dibujando líneas pequeñas en el fondo con formas circulares y me gusto mucho, pinte el humo que fue lo mas difícil, sinceramente no quedo tan bien pero no pude hacer más, ya me dolía algo la cabeza de tanto estrés, pinte su corona y luego añadí una capa de luces donde coloque pequeñas iluminaciones en algunas zonas del rostro, termine editando la imagen a mi gusto.

I added highlights and shadow to the hair to give it volume and movement, then I painted the top, a desaturated cream color and small folds in the fabric, I made up the eyes with an aqua green eyeliner and then painted the gold necklace, for the background I wanted to use blue and cyan tones, I wanted to experiment drawing small lines in the background with circular shapes and I liked it a lot, I painted the smoke which was the most difficult part, honestly it wasn't that good but I couldn't do more, I had a headache from so much stress, I painted her crown and then I added a layer of lights where I placed small illuminations in some areas of the face, I finished editing the image to my liking.
