Yes ka No ka Hanbun ka --- was so hilariously cute! (BL anime)

I was free this afternoon, so I decided to check on the animated films I have on my list and chose one among them. I felt like watching a BL animated film because of my previous conversations with @omokhafue ... hahaha

And the movie I watched is called "Yes ka No ka Hanbun ka" of Yes, No, Maybe? in English.

The two main characters in this story met twice in different circumstances.

Kunieda Kei is a newscaster who is trying to maintain a good-natured and friendly persona at work. He appears to be very patient and forgiving, but deep in his thoughts, he's already cursing the other person or people involved. Despite trying to hide this other half of his self, he's living a somewhat smooth-sailing life.

That kind of life ended when he met Tsuzuki Ushio who is an independent stop-motion animator.

They first met at work when he was tasked to interview Tsuzuki. They both didn't really have a positive first impression of each other, but they continued to be their professional self.

When they accidentally (literal accident... lol) met again, Kei was his other self, who he calls "Owari". Due to certain circumstances, both of his personas had to interact with Tsuzuki...

And as feelings started to blossom between them, Kei was troubled because he's unsure whether Tsuzuki will be able to accept both sides of him or maybe just half of him?

Here's a trailer of the anime below...

I find the story really refreshing. It's not common to have a love triangle with only two people involved. haha

This BL movie was hilarious and cute to watch. It's a simple and feel good movie. The art style was amazing, the story line was cute. It wasn't just about love, but about aspirations and being humans trying to live in a complex society.

Another thing I really found funny was when chibi Kei appears and rants his heart out. It's just so relatable. We tend to hide our thoughts sometimes to avoid conflict, but deep down in our mind, we've already erased someone multiple times. hahah

And I love this character from the stop-motion film that Tsuzuki made. He's just too cute... it also has a short but meaningful story behind this.

It wasn't the best BL movie I've watched, but I enjoyed it. I had a good laugh!

If you're into BL and still haven't watched this, then go and check it out!

That's it for this post. See you around! (^^,)/
