Plot
The anime takes us sixteen years after the end of the "Holy War" in which the "Seven Deadly Sins" killed the "Demon King" and the "Supreme Deity", and introduces us to Persival, a boy who lives with his grandfather in a secluded place called "God's Fingers". One day, they are visited by one of the Knights who are part of the force of Camelot who seek to end the boy's life. While it is commendable the good job they did to bring back several of the most iconic characters of this series, the detail and attention that should be given mainly to the story we are told in this sequel, which is not the same as the one we remember from its famous predecessor.
Starting with the story, which is one of the details that I love the most about this work, since we are not presented with incredibly powerful characters from the beginning, but our protagonist, in this case Persival, is a kind and innocent boy who has no experience in battles and who is just starting to go through his first journey full of adventures. The same goes for his friends he meets along the way, except for the other members of the "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse", who are particularly powerful. However, this does not mean that what is interesting at the beginning is overshadowed at the end, since we are talking about a story with a prophecy and a destiny that will call into question the main characters.

Una de las obras que recuerdo con nostalgia y cariño, sin lugar a dudas, es “Nanatsu no Taizai”, el cual sin importar cómo terminó, nos trajo muy buenos recuerdos de momentos, batallas y escenas impresionantes, además de darnos a conocer a personajes que seguramente muchos amaron hasta el día de hoy. Y es por este sentimiento que, al saber que iban a emitir esta secuela de dicho anime, esperé y la vi en emisión emocionado y con la nostalgia a tope. Si bien es encomiable el buen trabajo que hicieron de traer de vuelta a varios de los personajes más icónicos de esta serie, el detalle y la atención que hay que darle principalmente es a la historia que nos cuentan en esta secuela, la cual no es igual a la que recordamos de su famosa antecesora.
Empezando por la historia, la cual es uno de los detalles que más me encantan de esta obra, ya que no nos presentan personajes increíblemente poderosos desde un principio, sino que nuestro protagonista, en este caso Persival, es un chico amable e inocente que no tiene experiencia en batallas y que apenas empieza a recorrer su primer viaje repleto de aventuras. Lo mismo sucede con sus amigos que va conociendo en el camino, exceptuando a los demás miembros de “Los Cuatro Jinetes del Apocalipsis”, los cuales sí que son poderosos en particular. Sin embargo, esto no quita que lo interesante del principio sea opacado al final, ya que hablamos de una historia con una profecía y un destino que pondrá en tela de juicio a los principales personajes.

The animation, of course, is much better than what the main show had in its last seasons. While it is not an animation that surpasses that of the first seasons of its predecessor, it is very well done, besides standing out quite well in battle scenes. The soundtrack is a mixture of nostalgia with new feelings that develop throughout the story, making this anime an excellent audiovisual experience.
