I'm going to be honest with you. I started watching this new series and this new chapter with very low expectations. Since it is necessary. It can't be evaluated I move it with the standards of Dragon Ball Z. That era will never come back.
Voy a ser honesto con ustedes. Arranqué a ver esta nueva serie y este nuevo capítulo con las expectativas muy bajas. Ya que es necesario. No se puede evaluar lo muevo con los estándares de Dragon Ball Z. Esa época nunca volverá.
To my surprise, it was not bad. It was even enjoyable at certain moments. And in this blog I want to give my impressions and my opinion.
Para mi sorpresa, no estuvo mal. Incluso se llega a disfrutar en ciertos momentos. Y en este blog quiero dar mis impresiones y mi opinión.
First of all, a brief summary of the chapter. The first thing to say is that this story is set after the events of Buu and before Super.
Antes que nada, un breve resumen del capítulo. Lo primero que hay que decir es que esta historia está situada después de los eventos de Buu y antes de los Súper.
The story begins by showing us two new characters, Gomah and Degesu (Kaio-Shin's brother). Both are inhabitants of the realm of darkness. A place mentioned in Dragon Ball Z and said to be ruled by Dabura before being controlled by Babidi.
La historia comienza mostrándonos dos personajes nuevos, Gomah y Degesu (hermano de del Kaio-Shin). Ambos son habitantes del reino de las tinieblas. Un lugar mencionado en Dragon Ball Z y que se dijo que era gobernado por Dabura antes de ser controlado por Babidi.
At the beginning we are shown these characters witnessing the events of the Buu saga through a mystical artifact. When they see that the mortals managed to defeat Buu, they get scared and fear that the Z-warriors might invade their kingdom. Therefore, they decide to devise a plan to prevent this from happening.

His plan is to steal the dragon spheres from the earth to transform all those who fought against Buu into children. As a way to weaken them. And so ends the first chapter.

The first thing I have to mention is that it was really nice to see scenes from DBZ remastered. Like when Vegeta sacrifices himself or when Goku throws the Genki-dama. It was a caress to all of us who grew up with DBZ. However, it's already a bit annoying that they appeal to this resource so much. If you look at it, this was done a lot in the last few years of the franchise. I could mention the last movie as an example. When they replicated almost exactly the scene where Gohan transforms into Super Saiyan 2.
Lo primero que tengo que mencionar es que fue muy agradable ver escenas de DBZ remasterizadas. Como cuando Vegeta se sacrifica o cuando Goku lanza la Genki-dama. Fue una caricia a todos los que crecimos con DBZ. Sin embargo, ya es un poco molesto que apelen tanto a este recurso. Si nos fijamos, esto se hizo mucho en los últimos años de la franquicia. Podría mencionar como ejemplo la última película. Cuando replicaron casi de manera exacta la escena donde Gohan se transforma en Super Saiyan 2.
On the other hand, in visual terms it delivers. Aesthetically, I have no complaints. Quite the contrary. I really liked the art and animation. Especially the fight between Goku and Vegeta. You can tell that the studio put a lot of love in this aspect.
Por otro lado, en términos visuales cumple. Estéticamente, no tengo ninguna queja. Todo lo contrario. El arte y la animación me gustaron mucho. En especial en la pelea que hubo entre Goku y vegeta. Se nota que el estudio puso mucho cariño en este aspecto.
I think I enjoyed the whole chapter until the end. Specifically, until the moment where they all become children. I knew it was going to happen before I saw it, but that didn't stop my disgusted and embarrassed face. I already loathe the idea of turning Goku into a child. Imagine how I feel about them turning all the characters into children.
Creo que disfruté todo el capítulo hasta el final. Específicamente, hasta el momento donde todos se vuelven niños. Sabía que iba a pasar antes que lo vea, pero eso no evitó mi cara de asco y vergüenza ajena. Ya detesto la idea de volver a Goku en un niño. Imagínense lo que pienso que vuelvan niños a todos los personajes.
Honestly, I doubt I'll be watching many more episodes from now on. I don't think I'll put up with much of the future “poop, fart, pee” jokes. I'll probably just wait for them to go back to normal. And I hope it's very soon, because I was left a good impression by the first chapter (until the end).
Honestamente, dudo que a partir de ahora vaya a ver muchos más capítulos. No creo que aguante mucho los futuros chistes de “caca, pedo, pis”. Probablemente, espere a que vuelvan a la normalidad. Y espero que sea muy pronto, porque me dejó una buena impresión el primer capítulo (hasta el final).
In conclusion, if I had to rate the first chapter. It would be a 6/10. And I would say it was a better start than Dragon Ball Super.
En conclusión, si tuviera que calificar el primer capítulo. Sería un 6/10. Y diría que fue mejor inicio que el de Dragon Ball Súper.
