Hello friends of Hive and The Anime Realm community, it is a pleasure to greet you again to share with you part of my tastes for the world of anime. This time I bring you a small collection of Pokémon items that my nephew and I have bought in our outings to fairs and otaku stores as well as online shopping.
I remember in the 90s when Nintendo popularized the Pocket Monsters through an anime series and games for table and portable consoles, that was amazing because all children wanted to have these creatures to see them evolve into very powerful beings. With many seasons of anime, several movies and awesome merchandise, Pokémon became a worldwide phenomenon that caught young and old alike.
When I met Ash and his adventures with Pikachu, it was very cool, it was a fresh and different story; I remember that at the time I watched until season 5 “The Master's Quest” and more recently out of mere curiosity, I watched the season “Sun and Moon” with my nephew on Netflix, which was when they changed Ash's appearance a bit, something that revolutionized social networks when it happened hehe. If you wonder why I did not continue watching the series since that season, the reason is that I stopped liking it, Pokémon is very focused on a child and adolescent audience and I had already focused on other anime, however, something that always remained in my memory was the phrase of Team Rocket every time they appeared to bother Ash and Pikachu and many of the songs both openings and endings.
Well dear anime and manga lovers, let's start with the action of this post and join me... Let's Rock! 🔥🔥🔥
Hola amigos de Hive y de la comunidad The Anime Realm, es un placer saludarles nuevamente para compartir con ustedes parte de mis gustos por el mundo del anime. En esta oportunidad les traigo una pequeña colección de objetos de Pokémon que mi sobrino y yo hemos comprado en nuestras salidas a ferias y tiendas otakus al igual que compras en línea.
Recuerdo en la época de los 90s cuando Nintendo popularizó a los Pocket Monsters a través de una serie animada y de juegos para consolas de mesa y portátiles, eso fue asombroso porque todos los niños deseaban tener a estas criaturas para verlas evolucionar para convertirse en seres muy poderosos. Con muchas temporadas de anime, varias películas y merchandise imponente, Pokémon se convirtió en un fenómeno mundial que atrapó a grandes y chicos.
Cuando conocí a Ash y sus aventuras con Pikachu, fue muy genial, era una historia fresca y distinta; me acuerdo que en su momento vi hasta la temporada 5 "La Búsqueda del Maestro" y más recientemente por mera curiosidad, vi la temporada "Sol y Luna" con mi sobrino en Netflix, que fue cuando cambiaron un poco el aspecto de Ash, algo que revolucionó las redes sociales cuando ocurrió jeje. Si se preguntan porque no seguí viendo la serie desde esa temporada, pues la razón es que dejó de gustarme, Pokémon está muy enfocado en un público infantil y adolescente y ya me había enfocado en otros animes, sin embargo, algo que quedó siempre en mi memoria fue la frase del equipo Rocket cada vez que aparecían a molestar a Ash y a Pikachu y muchas de las canciones tanto openings como endings.

Este Pikachu es una figurita que mide aproximadamente 3 cm; tenía un Raichu pero no lo conseguí. El Pichu es un llavero que vino con un bolso que les mostraré más abajo el cual fue comprado en línea por Amazon.
I don't remember exactly what year I bought this Pokeball, what I do remember was that it came in a Mc Donalds “Happy Meal” where they promoted Pokémon toys and I thought it was very cool to have it because inside it has a disc with the image of Pikachu that can be shot.
No recuerdo exactamente en que año compré esta Pokebola, lo que sí recuerdo fue que vino en una "Cajita Feliz" de Mc Donalds en donde promocionaban juguetes de Pokémon y me pareció muy cool tenerla ya que en su interior trae un disco con la imagen de Pikachu que puede dispararse.
I bought these cards at a fair, I thought their illustrations and presentation were beautiful and despite not being an official product, I wanted to have them because I didn't know many of the Pokémon that are in them. Estas cartas las compré en una feria, me parecieron bonitas sus ilustraciones y presentación y a pesar de no ser un producto oficial, quise tenerlas ya que desconocía muchos de los Pokémon que hay en ellas. SI eres un Pokemaníaco, sabes de que temporada son? te leo en los comentarios.
These cards are not official either, but they are so well made that they look like originals and their illustrations are amazing, starting with the presentation of their boxes that catch anyone's eye. The level of detail they have is of high quality, so I could not pass them up to have them in the collection.
Estas cartas tampoco son oficiales, pero están tan bien hechas que parecen originales y sus ilustraciones están alucinantes, empezando por la presentación de sus cajas que atrapan la mirada de cualquiera. El nivel de detalle que poseen es de alta calidad, por ello no podía dejarlas pasar para tenerlas en la colección.
The popular game “UNO” joined the Pokémon fever and did not hesitate to release a set of cards with very nice and picturesque images of them. These cards are original, we got them in a store specializing in otaku merchandise and my nephew and I have already played with them, they are very cool.
El popular juego "UNO" se unió a la fiebre Pokémon y no dudó en sacar su juego de cartas con imágenes muy bonitas y pintorescas de ellos. Estas cartas son originales, las conseguimos en una tienda especializada en mercancía otaku y ya mi sobrino y yo hemos jugado con ellas, son muy geniales.
We come to the highlight of the post; this was a gift I gave my nephew I think after the pandemic if I remember correctly; this Elite Trainer Box is original, we bought it through Amazon and it cost almost $40 at the time. The box is a little worn from the use my nephew has given it, but overall we have it in very good condition. The box brings a lot of cards, a game manual, dice, the board game where the cards are placed, a coupon to redeem on the official site and some card protectors. When the box is taken out of its case, it can be opened showing some incredible illustrations that you can see in the image below.
Llegamos al plato fuerte del post; este fue un regalo que le hice a mi sobrino creo que después de la pandemia si mal no recuerdo; este Elite Trainer Box es original, lo compramos por Amazon y costó casi 40 dólares en aquel momento. La caja está un poco desgastada por el uso que mi sobrino le ha dado, pero en general la tenemos en muy buenas condiciones. El box trae muchas cartas, un manual de juego, dados, el juego de mesa donde se colocan las cartas, un cupón para canjear en la pagina oficial y unos protectores de cartas. Cuando se saca la caja de su estuche, se puede abrir mostrando unas increíbles ilustraciones que pueden observar en la imagen de abajo.
The cards are a beauty, there are 200 in total and most of them come in this shiny style that you see in the pictures. They show the characteristics of the Pokémon and its attack level; there are also the Pokémon masters, the elements and special powers on other cards.
Las cartas son una belleza, son 200 en total y la mayoría vienen en este estilo brillante que ven en las fotos. En ellas aparece las características del Pokémon y su nivel de ataque; también están los maestros Pokémon, los elementos y poderes especiales en otras cartas.
The game manual indicates each card that comes with the box and how to play. I still don't understand it but my nephew does and he has played it with his school friends. The manual is in full color, very well explained for the connoisseurs and with very nice illustrations. In the photo below you can see the card protectors and a coupon with a code on the back, which is redeemed online.
El manual de juego, nos indica cada carta que trae el box y la forma de jugar. Todavía no entiendo eso pero mi sobrino si y lo ha jugado con sus amigos del colegio. El manual es a full color, muy bien explicado para los entendidos y con unas ilustraciones muy bonitas. En la foto de abajo pueden apreciar los protectores de las cartas y un cupón con un código en la parte de atrás, que se canjea en línea.
This is the game board, as you can see, it is large. On it there are instructions and places to position the cards based on their type. It's great to put it on a table and on top of it a glass to protect the board, don't you think?
Este es el tablero de juego, como pueden ver, es grande. En él hay instrucciones y lugares para posicionar las cartas en base a su tipo. Está genial para ponerlo sobre una mesa y encima un vidrio que proteja el tablero no creen?
Finally we come to this acquisition that is very nice for its style. Don't think that the bag is dirty, in fact it is like that, very street and urban style where we can see Pikachu with a cool outfit. If you remember at the beginning of the post, I told you about the Pichu keychain, well that comes with this bag, I gave it to my nephew for one of his birthdays and if I remember correctly it cost almost 30 dollars, we bought it on Amazon.

Finalmente llegamos a esta adquisición que es muy bonita por su estilo. No crean que el bolso está sucio, de hecho es así, muy al estilo callejero y urbano en donde podemos ver a Pikachu con una vestimenta genial. Si recuerdan al comienzo del post, les hablé del llavero de Pichu, pues ese viene con este bolso, se lo regalé a mi sobrino en uno de sus cumpleaños y si mal no recuerdo costó casi 30 dólares, lo compramos por Amazon.
