Mi experiencia con Mew Mew
Este fue el anime que me hizo entrar de lleno a este mundo. Todo comenzó cuando mi yo de 9 años vislumbro uno de sus capítulos por televisión, siempre fui una gran fan de la fantasía, así que cuando vi a una chica transformarse mágicamente en una heroína gata con vestido rosa inmediatamente quise ver más. Busque los capítulos en internet y los vi una y otra vez, creo que me vi la serie completa al menos unas 5 veces.
La serie nunca busco ser una obra maestra, es divertida, colorida, romántica con varios momentos de drama y acción, pero como muchas series, tiene sus fallos.
Además, el anime para mi entra en lo que yo llamo mi época favorita de las Magical Girls. Hoy en día tras el éxito de la franquicia Pretty cure y Madoka mágica pareciese como si el mundo de las magical girls en general se hubiera divido en dos, o eres toda colorida y radiante o eres lúgubre y traumante, Sin dejar espacio para áreas grises. Anteriormente en animes como Sailor Moon o Tokyo Mew Mew las protagonistas, a pesar de vivir un día a día relativamente feliz y pacífico, no las excluía de vivir situaciones tristes, ya sea en su vida diaria o en el campo de batalla y eso a su vez no las hacia rendirse y lograban seguir adelante.
Tokyo Mew Mew siempre vivirá en mi corazón como uno de los primeros animes que vi y espero que más gente se anime a verlo.

My experience with Mew Mew
This was the anime that really got me into this world. It all started when my 9 year old self glimpsed one of its episodes on TV, I was always a big fan of fantasy, so when I saw a girl magically transform into a cat heroine in a pink dress I immediately wanted to see more. I looked up the episodes on the internet and watched them over and over again, I think I watched the whole series at least 5 times.
The series never sought to be a masterpiece, it's fun, colorful, romantic with several moments of drama and action, but like many series, it has its flaws.
Also, the anime for me falls into what I call my favorite era of Magical Girls. Nowadays after the success of the Pretty cure and Madoka magica franchise it seems as if the world of magical girls in general has been divided in two, either you are all colorful and radiant or you are gloomy and traumatizing, leaving no room for gray areas. Previously in anime like Sailor Moon or Tokyo Mew Mew the protagonists, despite living a relatively happy and peaceful day to day life, did not exclude them from living sad situations, either in their daily lives or on the battlefield and that in turn did not make them give up and managed to move forward.
Tokyo Mew Mew will always live in my heart as one of the first anime I watched and I hope more people will watch it.
