The Excellent Eleven

This screenshot motivational poster is super highly, absolutely, and indubitably Pro-Sesshoumaru, Pro-Inuyasha, Pro-Ayame, Pro-Shuran, Pro-Hakkaku, Pro-Ginta, Pro-Shunran, Pro-Ichise, Pro-Kiba, Pro-Ran, and Pro-Cheza with instances of Sesshoumaru's, Shuran's, and Hakkaku's bond as best friends as well as Pro-InuAya, Pro-GinShun, Pro-IchiRan, and Pro-Kiza moments thrown in the mix, although this mainly focuses on The Splendid Seven and The Fine Four joining forces as The Excellent Eleven, thus being one truly big, mighty, happy family. Sit back, relax, and revel in The Excellent Eleven's strength, solidarity, steadfastness, stamina, sturdiness, steeliness, and splendidness.

What happens when you take seven super strong, fierce, and courageous yokai warriors in The Splendid Seven and four insightful, reflective, and coolly collected denizens of dystopian locales in The Fine Four and put them in one neighbourhood? You get an absolutely astounding camaraderie that transcends mere friendship and runs more on being a close-knit family who have so much to share, to learn from, and to grow both individually and together. I always thought that my seven favourite characters from Inuyasha would be great friends with my main OTP from Texhnolyze and my main OTP from Wolf's Rain because I grew up watching these anime series during my tween years, and they would all have the potential to genuinely understand each other, all while seeing the best and the worst sides of each other without flinching. For years, I have also attempted to come up with interesting ideas and scenarios for this particular anime crossover friendship, especially since the seven guys would have a super strong brotherhood and the four girls would have a sisterhood steeped in solidarity. After all those years, I can attest that they can be perfectly adaptable in any scenario I place them in, whether it is my Jungle Warlords AU, Inurangers AU, Mythology AU or any AU that could have them be a strong family as well as a team of superheroes saving the world from nasty demons. Whatever scenario I place them in, I am certain to have a blast, as this is attributed to how strong The Excellent Eleven's familial bond has been from childhood to adulthood. Therefore, nothing is ever going to get Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, Shunran, Ichise, Ran, Kiba, and Cheza down, let alone break the super strong bond that has brought them together throughout the years.

Before Ichise, Kiba, Ran, and Cheza moved to the neighbourhood; The Wolf Elder, the ancient tribal chief, Toga, a high-ranking general, InuKimi, a high-ranking commander, and Izayoi, a noblewoman of the Japanese parliament had five children they were blessed to call their own. 8-year-old Sesshoumaru, 7-year-old Inuyasha, and 6-year-olds Hakkaku and Ginta were Toga's, InuKimi's, and Izayoi's sons, while 4-year-old Ayame was The Wolf Elder's granddaughter. 7-year-old Shuran and 2-year-old Shunran came slightly later into the picture for they used to live with their biological father The Panther King who was physically and verbally abusive towards them as well as their sisters 7-year-old Toran and 3-year-old Karan. This got to the point where Toga saw it fit to strip him of his duties as a parental figure, adopt both Shuran and Shunran, and provided Toran and Karan a home with 4-year-old Ayumi as their adopted sister. As Shuran and Shunran arrived to reside with the Wolf Elder, Toga, InuKimi, and Izayoi, the four boys were very happy to have a fifth brother to call their own, and Ayame was really happy to call Shunran her sister. Life at the Taisho household was never boring, as Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, and Ginta always played pranks on Sesshoumaru, thus resulting in a huge dog pile, and Ayame and Shunran enjoyed playing with dolls and action figures. There was also a set family routine of the children going to school, with Sesshoumaru and Shuran in Grade 2, Inuyasha and Hakkaku in Grade 1, Ginta in Senior Kindergarten, Ayame in Junior Kindergarten, and Shunran in Pre-School, having dinner as a family, and bedtime, with the five boys in one bedroom and the two girls in their own bedroom. Holidays were just as fun, considering the many theme parks they went to as well as various outings to the beach, the woods, and the park. Their early childhood was definitely full of bliss for adventures and great things to come.

One day when Sesshoumaru was 9, Shuran and Inuyasha were 8, Hakkaku and Ginta were 7, Ayame was 5, and Shunran was 3, they thought it would be a great idea for them to make a treehouse where they would meet after school to help each other with homework, have fun on the weekends, and just enjoy each others' company. They would even use the treehouse to talk about all the destructive monsters they had to fight, especially those attacking their neighbourhood. Their plan of action would be Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha using their strength, Shuran using his massive bearhugs and squeezes, Hakkaku and Ginta using their fists and feet, Ayame using her speed, strength, and fists, and Shunran using her illusions to incapacitate every monster and demon they encountered. Ayame's grandfather, Toga, InuKimi, and Izayoi were amazed at how well their seven children worked together and thought they would make a fine superhero team when they grew up. It was also at that moment that they called themselves The Splendid Seven because each and every one of them had something great that they could do in order to stop monsters and villains from destroying their home. The Wolf Elder and Toga even saw potential in both Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha to be candidates for Ayame's hand in marriage when she came of age, while InuKimi and Izayoi were certain that Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran were going to grow up to be equally strong fighters, with either Hakkaku or Ginta being a candidate for Shunran's hand in marriage. Over the next three years, Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran were training in various martial arts to improve their fighting skills. Sesshoumaru was in karate, aikido, and judo. Shuran was in professional wrestling and sumo wrestling. Inuyasha was in Pankration, Brazilian jujitsu, and kickboxing. Hakkaku was in boxing and Tae Kwon Do. Ginta was in Muay Thai and Pankration. Ayame was in Shaolin Kung Fu, kickboxing, and karate. Shunran was in Wushu and Shaolin Kung Fu. Outside their growing capabilities as fighters, all seven of them continued to have time doing other activities like soccer, hockey, swimming, diving, and riding their bicycles and always enjoyed having family picnics every holiday. Life just got even more exciting for Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, Ginta, Ayame, and Shunran.

By the time Sesshoumaru was 13, Shuran and Inuyasha were 12, Hakkaku and Ginta were 11, Ayame was 9, and Shunran was 7, there were some changes in their dynamics. Sesshoumaru, Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, and Ginta were still the tightest of brothers, while Ayame and Shunran were still wonderfully tight as sisters, but Ayame and Shunran were developing crushes on Sesshoumaru and Hakkaku respectively, although they always considered Inuyasha and Ginta as their best friends for life. Ayame always fawned over Sesshoumaru because of how extremely cool and determined he was in everything he accomplished. Shunran was starting to be kind of torn between Hakkaku and Ginta, but she was at least fortunate to have Shuran play big brother and always remind boys who dared to touch her that she is off limits. More changes were occurring with 10-year-old Ichise's, 9-year-old Kiba's, 5-year-old Ran's, and 4-year-old Cheza's arrival with their respective families in the new neighbourhood, especially since Ichise, Kiba, Ran, and Cheza also formed their own group known as The Fine Four and quickly became best friends. Sesshoumaru thought it would be nice to have new sparring partners in Ichise and Kiba, while Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, and Ginta found it great that they were going to have new best friends. As for Ayame and Shunran, they were so overjoyed at the prospects of having two new girl friends in Ran and Cheza. Ichise and Kiba were initially withdrawn and taciturn young boys who found living in the neighbourhood a new experience. Nevertheless, Sesshoumaru warmed up to both Ichise and Kiba by testing their strength, skill, and stamina in karate, judo, and kickboxing. Shuran, Inuyasha, Hakkaku, and Ginta were just as happy to have Ichise and Kiba as their new friends because of how cool and strong they were, given that Ichise had been training in Brazilian jujitsu, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling, and Kiba had been training in karate, judo, aikido, and Tae Kwon Do. Where the girls were concerned, Ayame and Shunran easily clicked with Ran and Cheza, for they were all into planting flowers in the garden, Shaolin Kung Fu, and always had weekend garden tea parties. Ichise, Kiba, Ran, and Cheza also proved to be of great help when they were fighting different monsters, especially with Ichise's strength, Kiba's fierceness, Ran's intelligence and Cheza's grace. In fact, Ichise and Kiba had blows so powerful that they could puncture metal walls. With The Splendid Seven's and The Fine Four's powers combined, they not only became the strongest of allies but also the firmest of friends as well as part of each others' families.

Adolescence was the period where relationships began to be more intimate; first with Inuyasha and Ayame, then with Ginta and Shunran, and finally with Ichise and Ran as well as with Kiba and Cheza. As Inuyasha reached 13 and Ayame reached 10, Ayame's crush on 14-year-old Sesshoumaru started to waver when he recognised how much she had to pretend when she was around him but was more relaxed and herself with Inuyasha. She even admitted to Sesshoumaru that she always thought about Inuyasha and enjoyed his company as more than just a friend. Meanwhile, Inuyasha was seeking for advice from Sesshoumaru about Ayame, as he used to be her crush. Sesshoumaru exposited that he also liked Ayame, but there were many times where she had to wear a mask just to try to please him. Furthermore, he even admitted that, whenever Ayame hung out with Inuyasha, he knew Inuyasha and Ayame truly clicked because they understood each other inside and out, and was going to be completely supportive of Inuyasha's and Ayame's relationship. Inuyasha and Ayame finally admitted their feelings to each other and started their relationship with Sesshoumaru's blessing. One year later, 11-year-old Ayame even decided that 14-year-old Inuyasha was going to be her husband, they ended up being blessed by The Wolf Elder and Toga, and 15-year-old Sesshoumaru also blessed his brother and his sister-in-law so that they can live a happy marriage. Following suit after Inuyasha's and Ayame's marriage were 13-year-old Ginta and 9-year-old Shunran who were continuing to be supportive and admirable of each other. She was also able to take being over 13-year-old Hakkaku surprisingly well, as they did not really have too much in common, but at least they stayed really good friends. 14-year-old Shuran was also supportive of Ginta's and Shunran's relationship, as he knew fully well that they would always be attentive to each other. This got to the point when Ginta and Shunran finally had the gumption to tell each other how truly felt and affirmed their relationship and were married two years later. Ichise and Kiba did not get into relationships with Ran and Cheza until Ichise was 19, Kiba was 18, Ran was 14, and Cheza was 13, with 22-year-old Sesshoumaru, 21-year-olds Shuran and Inuyasha, 20-year-olds Hakkaku and Ginta, 18-year-old Ayame, and 16-year-old Shunran being extra supportive of their relationships. Two years later, 21-year-old Ichise and 16-year-old Ran as well as 20-year-old Kiba and 15-year-old Cheza finally decided to get married because there relationships were based on trust, allegiance, and, most of all, respect. To celebrate the wedding, 24-year-old Sesshoumaru, 23-year-olds Shuran and Inuyasha, 22-year-olds Hakkaku and Ginta, 20-year-old Ayame and 18-year-old Shunran prepared all the decorations, flowers, and catering for the two couples to be really happy. Inuyasha and Ayame, Ginta and Shunran, Ichise and Ran, and Kiba and Cheza always made sure to stay faithful to each other until their dying days, and Sesshoumaru, Shuran, and Hakkaku would always support their endeavours every single time.

Adulthood has seen all eleven friends become parents to their children and have seen them grow up so fantastically. 40 going on 41-year-old Sesshoumaru's children as well as 39 going on 40-year-old Inuyasha's and 36 going on 37-year-old Ayame's sons and daughters have grown up into strong, daring, fierce combatants who are a combination of muscle, stealth, and stamina. 39 going on 40-year-old Shuran's children, 39-year-old Hakkaku's children, and all of 38 going on 39-year-old Ginta's and 35-year-old Shunran's sons and daughters have grown up to be clever, charming, charismatic fighters who are always willing to protect anybody and everybody from all harm. 38-year-old Ichise's and 33-year-old Ran's children have grown into innovative, reflective, taciturn inventors who know their way around machinery. 37-year-old Kiba's and 32-year-old's Cheza's children have grown into nurturing, compassionate, kind souls who care deeply about nature and would love to make plants grow beautifully. Parenthood was never easy for Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, Shunran, Ichise, Ran, Kiba, and Cheza, but seeing their children grow certainly assures them that they will cut their own paths in life and would make something great of themselves.

The Excellent Eleven have certainly come a long way in their lives together. Starting off with seven yokai warriors who were, are, and will always be a close-knit family then transitioning to having four new friends over, thus becoming the eleven valiant souls they are today, has filled their lives with gratitude, purpose, and perseverance in everything they do. Their children as well as their grandchildren in Sesshoumaru's, Inuyasha's, Ayame's, Shuran's, Hakkaku's, Ginta's, and Shunran's case are going to live the best lives they possibly can and uphold their predecessors' exciting legacies.

I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and keep on showing your love for The Excellent Eleven, everybody.
