Greetings to all chessfans. I'm sharing my game again at chess.com. The time control is my favorite three minute blitz. In this time control, it's easy to make mistakes and being alert when your opponent makes one wins the game instantly. I would like to think that solving chess puzzles has honed my sense in spotting tactical motifs but in this game, I missed a simple mate in two. It was a positional game that led to king hunt.
The game started with 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 Bf5 4. Nf3 e6
The Advanced Caro-Kann. It's supposed to be a solid defense but I sometimes fall for tactical attacks. 5. Bd3 Ne7 6. O-O Nd7 7. c3 Qb6
Black is lagging in development. The dark squared bishop is undeveloped and the king is still uncastled. The problem can be solved by Bxd3 followed by Nf5 and Be7 later. 8. b3 a5 9. Be3 a4
My king is not threatened so I decided to take risks and attack early in the queenside. 10. b4 Bxd3 11. Qxd3 Nf5 12. a3 Be7 13. Nbd2 O-O
I caught up in development. A quick glance at the position, I can claim to have the better bishop because White's bishop is blocked by his pawns. 14. c4 f6 15. c5 Qc7
The queenside has been blocked so I thought to open the kingside with f6. It weakened my e6 pawn though. 16. g4 Nxe3 17. Qxe3 fxe5 18. Nxe5 Nxe5 19. dxe5 b6
It looks like I blundered a pawn but I can recover it in a few moves. 20. cxb6 Qb7 21. f4 Ra6 22. Nf3 Rxb6
I like my position at this point. I have pressure on both sides of the board. Then White blundered. 23. Nd4 c5
Nd4 allowed c5 which was winning. Black threatens to win a pawn. If White takes c5 then his knight will be pinned. 24. bxc5 Bxc5 25. Rfc1 Rc6 26. Kg2 Qb6 27. Rd1 Qb2+
My queen invades White's camp and his king is out in the open. 28. Kg3 Bxd4 29. Qxd4 Rc3+ 30. Kh4 Qb3
I missed a mate in two, solved by 
A nice "quiet move" and White cannot escape mate in two. 34. fxe6 Qe8# { Black wins. } 0-1
