On the good Christmas day, we started to day slow, mainly spending a quiet breakfast at home. Again, nothing fancy. Just being grateful for home, and that everyone was healthy. Boys took one last photo before the opening of presents. Later on, I did some minor cleaning because we had invited guests to our house for simple Christmas gatherings.

Simple Christmas Gatherings

It had been awhile we got to invite people to our house due to random happenings at home with Jansen's monthly complications. This time, he was in a great mode, so we told ourselves, we must do it. And we did at the time frame 2:30pm-5:30pm.

Husband went out to pack some sourdough pizzas, egg tarts and some yummy chicken liver dish for the guests. We also had chips and roasted chestnuts as appetizers.

We had so much good times of chit-chatting with people who matters for us, who really journeyed with us with so much love, care and prayers. Treasure them a lot! The boys also had great time together whilst the adults chatting non-stop. Haha!

Jansen got to open one of his presents which he super liked - bow and arrow. Turned out other children loved it too.

Christmas Dinner with family

At night, we had dinner with family. Mother-in-law cooked her delicious Mum's Tuna Pastas and also bought roasted chicken. A healthy salad for the sides too with so many dressings to choose from.

Another great family dinner together. Whenever the children got together was their happiest moment. I was very engaged in what was happening around, did not take alot of photos.

Super love the Christmas tree and flowers at in-laws house. My father-in-law was so good in arranging it.

After dinner, it was presents' time. Each child received presents from their grandparents. Stoked!!!

Ending the night!

We came home and still would not sleep because the boys had some more presents to open. It was 10:30pm but the next day was still school holiday, let's just sleep late haha.

So they happily opened all the presents. We ended the day telling them how grateful we were to God and family and friends. A short and simple prayer together as family.

And of course a Christmas family wefie!!!
