Life is full of lessons, it could be negative or positive. Which ever one, you learn everyday.
With the way things are moving, so many students are beginning to learn different habit that will not be of benefit to them.
ASUU (Academic Staff Union of Universities) strike in Nigeria has just refused to end. Alot of teachers are moving up and down doing nothing, so also with the students. even the parents and guidian to the students are also tired of the situation.
But while some students are moving around doing nothing, some have decided to use their time wisely.
Only the wise learn from every situation, but the foolish get more foolish instead of learning.
For some students, as the awaits the gets of tertiary institutions to reopened for them to go back to school, they have gotten themselves different kinds of work to get them busy.
I saw this particular students busy making money by carrying sand and blocks for people who are building houses,
and he was doing it with joy and happiness, no shame. He didn't even care what people will say about him, he just went ahead and did what he thought was going to benefit him.
This is a kind of food for thought for students who have been doing nothing just sitting at home waiting for Asuu to call off the strike so that they will go back to school.
You can get yourself engage with one work or the other.
I am happy to see this and I am using it to encourage other students especially those from Nigeria who are currently waiting for the strike to be called off.
