... today i worked in the morning again a little bit but i think its better to rest my foot a week longer or as long as it needs because i feel when i work it is not correct and i dont want to have any problems later. So i went home after 4 hours to rest it again and also my part was kind of done :)
At home i started a pretty cool sketch for all of you and the whole HIVE community!
And because i already know it will take me longer than it was the plan i will make a part 1 and part 2 blog out of this
I decided this because i m kind of "in the middle" of the sketch now and already have so many pictures to show you because i made step by step pictures for a little Tutorial :D
...so lets start with the pictures of the tutorial and the first part and have some fun :) ENJOY IT!
Lets start with the TUTORIAL!
Most time i start with my first lines to create the idea :P (...always of course)
"HIVE". Can you read it?
I changed the E
Cool!
I had the feeling i need to fill this hole under the "e" so i decided to paint a character too.
Some nice blocks on the letters.
This time i kind of painted the blocks in all directions and also overlapping the letters. Thats wild and maybe not for "beginning" but if you do it correct it can work.
Lets bring some color in it! The "fill in" for the blocks are HIVE red.
And the letters have a "light red" while the outlines have a "white red".
Looks cool so far!
Now i painted a small line on the outline. White from the right side and up and a little bit darker than the fill in left and from down.
That was hard but the effect is very nice.
Lets start to color the character.
I changed the background into a dark grey and painted a horizontal line.
Also the laptop have a cool light effect now.
I painted some more shadows and lines you will not see...
...and this is how it looks at the moment:
Its for YOU <3!
...feel free to share it and STAY TUNED FOR PART 2 soon!
