Quiero contarles un poco de como empecé en este mundo del graffiti...

Cuando estaba en bachillerato empecé a adentrarme en este mundo, antes de todo apuesto que ya en su cerebro se está creando un estereotipo de persona y te digo que te equivocas, yo era un prototipo bastante diferente. En esos tiempos seguí paralelo al graffiti con la música y mis clases de bachillerato, que por cierto,nunca repetí ninguna materia, no era el mejor pero si estudiaba y le ponía para pasar mis materias.

When I was in high school I started to enter this world, first of all I bet that a stereotype of person is already being created in his brain and I tell you that you are wrong, I was a quite different prototype. In those times I continued parallel to graffiti with music and my high school classes, which by the way, I never repeated any subject, it was not the best but if I studied and put it to pass my subjects.

A diario paralelo a todo, que interesante es pensar como algo que hacias por experimentar, por querer mejorar, porque te gustaba terminó haciendo tu camino para lograr lo que eres hoy en día profesionalmente...

Vale, continuamos con el tema anterior jaja. A diario boceteaba, pintaba y todo lo previo que era antes de pintar en una pared, empecé como en 2010 con 15 años, por curiosidad ya que un amigo lo hacía, demasiado mal pero lo hacía. Empecé y creo que la clave de crecer en tipografias, estilos, gustos, etc. fue la constancia, dedicación y nunca rendirme. Empecé siendo nadie, pintaba muy horrible, con el tiempo (años) fui abriendome paso y actualmente mi nombre es respetado. Una de las cosas que más cuesta, es el respeto, pero con acciones eso se gana sólo. Yo creo que en todas las artes la crítica cuando eres pequeño está llena de mucho veneno y más si eres de un pueblo chiquito, por ello es esencial no entrar en conflicto, tener la madures de escuchar la crítica y no dejar que te afecte, debes hacer que te anime a mejorar mucho más.

Entonces, era un flaquito que se la pasaba en sus cosas todo el día, también muchas veces salía con amigos y todo el tema juvenil de socializar. Creo que algo también me volvió particular, es que no temía en caminar sólo, la mayoria de graffers hacian grupos, normalmente yo no hice eso y en los que estuve, el grupo era una falacia. También en los grupos se daba mucho el tema de querer aprovecharse de la pintura que compraba otra persona y eso no me gustaba nada, tuve bastante actitud y me alejé de muchas personas que eran así, tal vez influyó mucho que yo tenía una beca y con un poco de ese mismo dinero administraba mis cosas y compraba mis pinturas, entonces darle pintura gratis a alguien... no me gustan los oportunistas aprovechadores.

I think that in all the arts criticism when you are little is full of a lot of poison and even more so if you are from a small town, that is why it is essential not to conflict, to have the maturity to listen to criticism and not let it affect you, you must make it encourage you to improve much more.

So, he was a skinny guy who spent his things all day, also many times he went out with friends and the whole youthful topic of socializing. I think something also made me particular, is that I was not afraid to walk alone, most graffers made groups, normally I did not do that and the ones I was with, the group was a fallacy. Also in the groups there was a lot of the issue of wanting to take advantage of the painting that someone else bought and I did not like that at all, I had quite an attitude and I stayed away from many people who were like that, perhaps it influenced a lot that I had a scholarship and with a little of that same money managed my things and bought my paintings, so give someone free paint ... I don't like opportunistic opportunists.

Otra particularidad que tuve fue que yo solicitaba permiso para pintar en paredes, ya que lo que más pinté eran bocetos que hacía en cuaderno y tenía la necesidad de plasmarlos para cumplir con esa obra, entonces necesitaba tiempo para elaborarlo en la pared y un caso importante es que el tema de pintar en paredes sin permisos es ilegal, y la calle es peligrosa, desde el policía hasta la misma comunidad pueden hacer contigo lo que sea, es bueno que no tuve que vivir la experiencia para poder entenderlo.

Por lo general el graffiti se da ilegal y legal, aunque si vamos más profundo con el tema eso también depende del estilo de lo que pintes. Por ejemplo existe un estilo gráfico que se llama "bombas", se basa en letras redonditas, trazos sencillos y fácil de hacer, entonces estas buscan hacerse repetidamente en sitios muy atractivos y díficil de acceder para lograr mayor impacto, este es el ilegal; y por la parte legal, se dan muchos estilos como el de "pieza", los"caracteres", "rostros", "ilustraciones" y "murales", la pieza son letras con un mayor grado de complejidad en su elaboración, se usan más materiales y con lleva más tiempo de elaboración en lo que se pueden agregar los demás estilos en uno sólo y formar un mural mucho más complejo con mayor contenido. Un buen ejemplo de los murales de graffiti pueden buscar en google "Meting of styles", quedarán fascinados.
