So, exactly on a certain summer night (the night of June 21-22) in Ancient Russia, a huge number of holidays took place, connected with the power of nature and magic. Many girls gathered on the edges of forests, on the banks of rivers. They sang songs, laid beautiful wreaths and wondered about their future.

It was believed that it was on this night that mystical forces always gave only truthful answers to interrogators. However, mysticism did not end there.
To gain complete happiness, love and wealth, the girl had to go to the night forest to find a magical fern there and weave this plant into her wreath.
However, everything was not so simple: as soon as the girl ripped off this plant and headed home, the forest became a trap for her. For the magic of the fern to work, the girl could not turn around and say anything. It was very difficult to do this: around suddenly heard the voices of relatives, father and mother. The girl was called friends, young children asked for help and pulled her hands. If the girl had the strength and courage to overcome this and get out of the forest, then she received everything she could wish for! But if she violated the conditions, she remained in the forest forever in the seat of a lost soul.
This drawing is the image of a girl who remained in the forest forever, forever young and beautiful, weaving a fern into her magnificent wreath.
