Hello #hive @onchainart ! , coming up with another project created in Realtime rendering using Unreal Engine, Taking the latest level from the market place, I re did the lighting in the level, I created a sunset and a night version for this level, so in this post i will walk you through my breakdown of the work and feel free to ask if you have any Realtime rendering questions :)
In my mind i've always wanted to create something old school such as a wild west old town so this been a cool project to work on, Pushing the lighting limits in UE to make the scene look much nicer !
Setting up my lights
Once i deleted all the lights i wanted to re create the lighting using the Env Light Mixer, a great toold for extorior env lighting.
Night render
for the night version i just used some point lights emitting the lamps with some spot lights adding the moon feel for the environment
Color Lut
for the color grading i used color Luts to put the quality and look more, I did not want to comp my renders and get everything done from the engine.
If you liked the grading, Feel free to use this color Lut in your UE project :)
