Valkyrie from 2008 - a dramatic historical film directed by Bryan Singer.
The film is called in my country, Operation Valkyrie or simply Valkyrie from 2008 - it is a war film, historical directed by Bryan Singer, which exposes only a small part of the events that took place on July 20, 1944 (when a handful of officers Nazis had an assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler).
The film features an operation called Valkyrie - a special operation led by veteran officer and war hero Claus von Stauffenberg (played by Tom Cruise), left without an eye and a hand during the fighting in North Africa, involving other key members of the military hierarchy (played by Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Eddie Izzard and Terence Stamp), all with high ranks and direct access to Hitler's circle of relatives. Ohoo this special group are exposed as heroes, who were not afraid of anything. More than that is not worth offering, because i don't want to destroy your curiosity.
The important thing is that from a historical point of view, Germany at that time was about to lose the war, which was understood by many at that time. These brave officers wanted nothing more than the speedy end of that cruel war that never seemed to end. They plan to kill Hitler and those close to him, and then a new government will be formed with as little bloodshed as possible. From my point of view, they tried to save many lives, but for all those who have not seen the film so far - learn from me that things will end in a rather dramatic way.
To see how this film, inspired by a true life story, ends or how the whole action of those historical characters unfolds, all you have to do is give yourself about 120 minutes of your personal life. The film will surely whet the appetite of those interested in what Nazism meant, or perhaps you simply want to know more about how Hitler was viewed in his own country.
Take🙂 care of your valuable time. Cheers🙋♂️ to everyone🌍
