I woke up at around 6AM today because I wanted to go for a walk. Originally, my father had to go to church today to drop something for the upcoming "All Saints Day" and "All Souls Day", and when I heard about it, I asked him if it was alright for me to tag along.
He agreed and changed his schedule, so we could go for a walk in the morning and drop by the church afterwards.
It was already around 6:30 AM when we headed out, but the sky was gloomy. It was cooler than usual, so it was perfect for walking. I suggested the route we take... and that was along the beach!
The beach is around 10 minutes away using this route, so I enjoyed taking photos of various stuff and establishments that I saw.
This is a food park, but most of the stores open in the afternoon or in the early evening. It's just 5 minutes away on foot, but I have never eaten there. hahaha
This convenience store is also just around 5 minutes away, but we mostly go to the other store which is in the opposite direction. And a newly constructed convenience store is also about to open nearby, but it's smaller than this one.
In just around 10 minutes, we finally reached this area. It's called "bay walk". Some people go for a walk with their dogs or go jogging around this place. This is near a housing subdivision.
There were some colorful fishing boats on the shore and some huge ships in the distance.
We decided to walk along this path up to the opposite end. I had fun listening to the sound of waves and feeling the sea breeze on my face. It calmed me and made me feel happy and relaxed. I also enjoyed taking photos and videos of the waves. Let me share some of the photos below...
We leisurely walked the path and continued until we reached the park. It took us around 15 minutes...
This is the site where the Americans who helped Cebu get its freedom from the Japanese landed. :)
selfie with father... it was so windyyyyyy~
After spending some more time by the beach, we headed to the church for my father's errand. :)
After doing the errand and saying our prayers, we headed home. We were debating whether to ride home or just walk because the sky didn't seem so friendly, but we chose the latter.
We took the shortest and least busy route home. We passed by the newly constructed convenience store which is around 5 minutes away from our place and is in the opposite direction of the 7-Eleven earlier.
We dropped by the pharmacy's convenience store before heading home to buy some wheat bread for breakfast.
It was a relaxing and productive walk earlier today. I should really do more of these walks again. It helps me unwind and relax.
Thanks for reading and see you around! I hope you all enjoyed your Wednesday walk as well... (^^,)/
