The neighbors have outdone themselves this year. My niece/daughter and her best friend arrived from Sioux Falls, South Dakota this last week. She loves coming home every few years during October; it is her favorite time to visit her childhood spots where her grandparents always took her. This night we took a walkabout through my neighborhood to take photos of the decorations.
Can you believe the size of this cat in my neighbor's front yard? She outdoes herself every year and my niece/daughter loves how she changes things. The second night she was here we all took a stroll down our street to see all the decorations.
All three of the above photos are from her front lawn. She told me she is trying to talk her husband into letting her buy a huge dragon to place on the roof, lol.
I love the ghost in this neighbor's yard. The grinchy smile on the pumpkin is fun too!
She also had five of these ghosts hanging from her large maple tree to scare off any trick-or-treaters.
Walking further down the street we encountered Mickey Mouse.
Along with whatever creatures these were supposed to be.
I thought this was an interesting display, not sure what it was supposed to reflect but it looked spooky.
There is always a graveside scene somewhere in the neighborhood and at the end of the street this one was on display.
I really liked this one. What do you think?
Here is the entire front yard of this house. They seem to add more to the yard every year.
Show us some decorations that are in your neighborhood. We would enjoy seeing them from different parts of the world.
Thank you @tattoodjay for this fun, weekly #wednesdaywalk posting community.
Until next time, this is Sunscape
