I finally got to get out for another walk in the fall colors for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
The oaks are nice and rusty red with a many of their leaves already lost. I found an opening in the sky that was close enough to a heart and helped it along with a bit of liquify filter.
Meanwhile the maples are really golden right now. I like to head out in the morning for a more dramatic shadow angle.
There are some spruce trees behind these maples adding a bit of background contrast to the bright yellow.
Overhead it is nice and gold with some clear blue skies. I like how the tree trunks are bold against all the color.
Here's one with some green, yellow and orange.
Meanwhile in the ground the long shadows are breaking up some of the colorful leaves on the dark soil of the forest floor.
I heard some loud honking and had to whip out the zoom lens. Too bad I couldn't get the geese with the colorful tree tops below.
With the zoom lens out I decided to see how the colors would end up with some close zooms in on the color. It seems to make everything more bold.
The shadows and highlights are more dimensional with a real lens compared to my phone. This photo just needs a nice deer silhouette off in the distance.
Now back to the phone. The wide angle helps you catch more image.
The days are getting shorter around here, later on in the evening I was able to catch some color in the hazy clouds. It seems to match the leaf colors well.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
