Winter Walks: Clumber Park

We had a New Year's walk at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire. We had a lot of rain during the night but it wasn't too bad this morning. The little bit of sun we had created some nice reflections across the water.

It’s such a lovely place, whatever the season with a lake, gothic style church, gardens, and woodland areas. There's plenty of walks and cycle paths to follow. It can get quite busy at peak times with people and their dogs, and today was that day! I think everyone had the same idea to walk off their festive food intake. It's a good job there are 3,800 acres to find areas that are less peopley. 😊

It was so nice to see the birds taking off and coming into land, but it looked as though these ducks were recovering from Christmas as well.

In the park, there are some cool ancient gnarly trees, scattered around.

I'm hoping this little one gets reunited with its owner.

After a good walk, you can stop off at the mobile café and put all your calories back on!

It was a nice, easy walk with good views over the lake. We decided to leave as dusk was setting in.

Thank you to @tattoodjay for #wednesdaywalk.
